It appears that BYU and Boise are coming to The Big East. The Salt Lake City Tribune is reporting. Apparently they want a lot of spotlight on this move and are waiting for the Penn State scandle to die down a little bit. The fact that gameday is at Houston this week seems like a perfect time to make the announcement.
The really nice and surprising thing was the divisional breakdowns. In order to accomadate Cincy and Louisville they will be forcing UCF out west. UC and UL did not want to be apart of the Western Division and the Western Division would like a Florida school for recruiting.
New Divisions:
East
Cincinnati
Louisville
Rutgers
USF
UConn
Navy
West
Boise St
Air Force
BYU
UCF
Houston
SMU
I would like it. Could bring a huge TV deal with national schools like BYU, Navy, Air Force and the national interest in Boise.
Would be a great move for everyone. I would make everyone agree to a huge buyout and hand over TV rights like the Big XII. I think people would agree to it but you should call that contract null and void if the lose BCS AQ which would be highly highly highly unlikely.
