I guess I'll start one since were 2 and half hours from tip-off. My thoughts -- one, I pissed the game isn't on TV. Two -- these two teams seem to be 10 and 11 in most peoples eyes in terms of tournament resume and I think the winner is probably assured a spot , while the loser will be behind the eight ball and still needing to prove something. We obviously need to reach 10 regular season conference wins, but the way this is shaping out, this is the one I would rather have so Marquette stays behind us. I don't want to be the last team hoping for a spot.

No expectations for the game tonight. I'm going at it with a completely open mind- last time I did that was the UofL game. Hopefully the result is the same.

For anyone that has an Xbox360, you can watch the game on your television through it. You need to have an Xbox Live Gold Account and access to ESPN3.com. The quality seems to be better this way as opposed to my laptop.

As if it wasn't bad enough having to listen to Dickie Simpkins announcing the Providence - UC game, now we have to sit through this again!!? If I hear "DJO! He's my guy!" one more time, I am going to throw up.

What the hell is up with Yancy and outlet passes? Two games in a row he has stupidly turned it over right under our basket. Can't have that if you're going to win on the road.

Yancy is getting really good position on the block right now and he is being aggressive. That is a good sign.

The zone is really giving Marquette some issues. On offense, we are getting some really good looks but not knocking any of them down.

the Bearcats are really bringing the pressure tonight on defense...and is it just me, or anybody else impressed at Gates' endurance and stamina this far along in the season (and i know he sat out a few games, but factor in the physicality of the BEast)

at least Gates is a center...what is Davis' excuse?

Good first half. The shooting started coming around. The defense was pretty good. The press was great. Need to keep them off the free throw line as much as possible.

I am kind of surprised. I haven't seen Marquette play often but usually a small team, like Marquette, is decent at handling the basketball and therefore the press.
I agree. Marquette is usually fundamentally sound, but the Cats have their hands in on every pass and passing lane...

dear bearcats,
please do not let jimmy butler make anymore plays this game. that way, i do not have to hear this commentator say his name for the 221st time.
thank you

Can you say FLOP? The Bearcats are going to lose this game the way it is being officiated right now. Marquette is going to be in the bonus by the 12:00 minute mark of the second half. Unreal.
