really disappointing performance again. Need Mbodj prayers to beat Miami

I agree with this. Very disappointing effort on offense again. Actually, very disappointing effort in most areas of the game.

Mbody play was the diffrence. A little luck never hurt anyone ,and the ways things have been going I'll take a little luck anyway they can get it.

They never have the game on where I am.

56 pts???????

I belive the Cats shot 56% in the second half to get that high. The halftime score was 23-22 in UC favor.

This was after UC jumped on Miami 18-3 at the first time out...

Outrebounded 28-27.

4-10 from the charity stripe.

UC took 15 more shots than MU at a 41% clip. MU shot 47%.

UC allowed MU's leading scorer to get 28 pts and 12 boards. Unreal.

The offense looks lost most of the time.

I read they had a 1st half scoring droubt of about 6 or 7 minutes (maybe had a free throw). As I was saying earlier it seems Micks teams have scoring droubts above 5 minutes, no matter which players or season

I got a helluva stat for you 56-47

Yeah, it's a trend that is going on way to long now. Last year team was able to make up for it with defense and rebounding. As we all see, this years team is way behind that team.

It will be insteresting to see how this team performs on the road. With all due respect to GA, but they're not a very good ball club. Cincy really needs a win here.

Is it time to let these guys lose? Meaning enough of dribbling the ball up the court slowly and setting high picks at the top of the key. Get the rebound and GO!! I dont see them competing in the BE scoring in the 50's and the D hopefully will feed off and up-tempo style. Maybe get the crowd involved instead of sitting on there bumps watching a grinding out offense

Obviously not being in Cincy I didn't see the game. I did follow it on my phone. Tonight we saw why Mbodji was signed. As the season goes on he'll make a difference in this team. Somebody besides Gates has to rebound. Scoring draughts continue to be a problem and no bench scoring. All in all a win and this team needs that for confidence. On to the next. A win is a win. I'll take 19 or so more ugly wins.

One more thing, the scoring will remain low till they can get some bench production. You aren't going to average 70 a game when only your starters are scoring.

What a great game by Checky Modojo tonight! To paraphrase Joe Nuxhall "if you throw the ball at the basket you are dangerous".

Watching this OSU Duke game after watching our game makes me so angry with our offense. The way OSU moves the ball, runs sets, cuts to the hoop, and gets penetration from it's guards is unreal. I know OSU has far superior talent to us but you don't have to have this kind of talent to run an effective offense. I felt the same way after watching Marshall put on an offensive clinic in our gym. I hope Mick is watching this game and taking notes.

Dicky V with a Marty Brenneman shout out after a deep 3 attempt. "He shot that one from Cincinnati, he shot that from Marty Brenneman's house"

They were getting a lot of dribble drive and dishes resulting in easy high percentage shots.

Also, I hate OSU basketball, but calling the arena the Nut House adds a different dimension. Giving any arena a nickname helps the fans feel part of the game and gives the players an edge. Too bad The Shoe doesnt have a nickname like that. Where is the students creativity???

It sure as heck helps recruiting. Come to OSU and play in the Nut house where fans are on their feet or come to UC and check out Ralph SITTING in the front row with his sweat shirt tied around his waste

Its called the Shoe, you said the nickname right in that post. U drunk?

No one puts up big points on Miami. Don't get too caught up in the total points.

However we have the starters to compete with most teams in the country but our bench is no where close.
