You know, you might be onto something. Instead of looking for another job, cal was out recruiting a bunch of future nba ballers, and keeping uk's name in the media by sending his whole team to the nba workout. Yet our great coach was in talks with another program and espn reports nothing on it.
Is cal more loyal then cronin? One can make the case after mick pulls a 5 day drama queen act.

Naw, i'll never leave. Stuck through 10 years of poor recruiting classes, and even worse performance on the court. Why stop now? Plus i would oddly miss mick crying in post games with danny and chuck.

It was personal. He had genuine interest in UNLV. I don't blame him for looking, I do blame him for talking out of both sides of his mouth constantly and for being an average at best coach.
I also blame the "speculators" on this board who constantly make up stories to support their tired arguments.
I have an agenda, and it's for Mick to leave. I understand that's an unpopular opinion on this site. At least I don't constantly make up stories to try to support my point of view. Many others here cannot say that. It's a shame.

The problem is your agenda is based on your personal vendetta with Mick (I'm assuming ever since he left UC as an assistant to go to UL). He could win a national championship here and you'd still root against him.
I was a huge fan of the hire, loved him, but lately he hasn't impressed me. But I'm not going to hold a personal grudge against him. I actually want him to succeed and don't root for him to fail.

I don't have a personal vendetta against Mick. I've explained myself on this before. I just want to be elite again, if Mick gets us there I'm all for it. I've grown to despise his brand of basketball and I don't care for his post game comments but if he gets us back to elite status I'll pledge my allegiance to him.
Bottom line is I don't make up stories to support my opinions. Many in here do and it's almost as annoying as Mick's post game interviews.

You may not make up your stories but you are incredibly biased.
While I agree with most of what you say (I'm not a big fan of his style, hate his post-game comments, etc) I'd like to know what is your criteria for elite? That way IF Mick ever hits it, we'll know. I assume since you said "again" you are referring to Huggins days, so 1 final four, couple elite 8's, few sweet 16's? Honest question.
