I don't get how anyone could not be excited about watching Caupain, Clark, and Evans next year. That's where this whole thing starts and ends with me.
Lol. Here we go again with the UC can't replace Mick argument. Yeah, I'm sure we'd really struggle finding a candidate to come in and take over Mick's top 20 salary.
Hell, I'd take Kerry Coombs over Mick Cronin. Give him some assistants and let him learn on the job. He couldn't do any worse.
Let's not forget, this season was an epic under-achievement and disappointment with a veteran roster of players that he has supposedly molded to be ready for a special season. If I under-performed in the business world, and missed my expectations this badly, I definitely wouldn't get a raise or a bonus or anything. And, I might be fired. It should be even moreso for someone getting compensated about two and a half million dollars to underperformers this badly.
I'm thinking you might be blinded by unrealistic expectations. Last six years win totals: 26, 26, 22, 27, 23, 22. I think you guys don't realize that level of consistency isn't easy to achieve. Some people call it mediocre, I call it good, not exceptional.
Come on Jake. You have been around here long enough to know the answer to that one.I don't get how anyone could not be excited about watching Caupain, Clark, and Evans next year. That's where this whole thing starts and ends with me.
Lol...and I'm the one accused of having an agenda!
Just go back and look at the powder-puff teams he played to pad those numbers...which is why our administration had to start giving away tickets to get people to go to games.

thank you brother!!!!Just ridiculous. Your ******** is getting out of hand. I get that you hate him. I get that you want him gone. But the ******* guy has more wins than anybody his age. 1 of 8 programs to go to the dance the last 6 years. He deserves criticism but stop acting like he is the worst coach in the history of college basketball. There are 347 D1 basketball teams and 300 of them would kill for him to be their head coach. He wins, he goes to the tournament, he graduates players, he doesnt cheat, and he represents the university with class. Think Cincinnati cant do worse? Ask Memphis fans. Ask UNLV. Ask Boston College. Ask the entire bottom half of our dogshit conference. It can get much worse than we have it. And after we fire him we wont land a big time coach because our conference *****, facilities are second rate, and we just fired a coach that has 6 straight tourney appearances. Then we miss the tournament 4 straight years and have to fire that guy you will be the ******* who will disappear from the boards. As I said Mick deserves criticism with a touch of perspective. Every right to have the opinion you want the program to go in a different direction. But the way you go about it is tired and as stale as Mick's excuses.

Because I know Mick will ruin it. I can already tell you exactly how it will play out. We'll start hot against weak teams, we'll struggle in our out of conference tests, we'll finish out of the top in the AAC and we'll be in the tourney with an 8-11 seed and go home in the first weekend. Rinse, Wash, repeat for every year Mick is our coach.
Of course he has the opportunity to prove me wrong, but he hasn't yet.
You mad bro?? Some people embrace mediocrity, apparently you're one of them. I expect excellence because I **** excellence. Mick is not excellent, he's a 5 out of 10 at best.
Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son.
Well Jack, you just made the point. Teams ranked below the top 50 would kill to have him as a coach. That is very accurate. We don't aspire to be anywhere near the 50th best program in America, which is why we need someone different. The top 50 programs would certainly not kill to have him. Let the bottom 300 teams kill each other for his services.

Where there's smoke there's fire. C'Mon Mick, got to UNLV and I'll never say a bad thing about you again!!! Maybe our luck as Cincinnati fans is finally starting to turn around.
