Game is Sunday at 5:30 EST on FS Ohio and ESPN3.

Morgan State is 2-5, with wins over Goldey-Beacon (68-60) (I don't know what the hell Goldey-Beacon is either) and Campbell (59-54). Their losses came against Virginia (86-48), Towson (69-61), Old Dominion (79-48), High Point (82-72), and a heartbreaker against Wagner (62-61).

This is as much of a "get right" game as there ever could be. Morgan State is #305 in KenPom. This game won't be close.

I hope everybody gets a lot of PT. I hope Jenifer gets minutes and starts to feel comfortable working in some half court. We know he's going to carve up a wide open transition game, but we need to be able to trust him in a slow half court game too.

I want to see Cobb get back on track. He's slumping and forcing really bad shots. A few of them were cringe worthy vs Butler, I had never really worried about him taking shots before.

I wonder what Mick will do with tempo. With he revert back to his old style after just 1 loss? Will he realize he just needs to keep working at changing our style. His snapping about people claiming we need offense wasn't exactly where his mind should have been imo. Teach them to not turn it over, then magically the offense is much better. Then your defense is much better too because you don't give up transition points. Push the team to continue to improve at everything, not just defense.

I'm curious to find out what others think. Personally I believe the half court strategy should change slightly when JJ is in the game vs TC. We need to let JJ take advantage of his skill set and that is not passing it around the perimeter. Maybe more picks at the top of the key? Give him some opportunities to break down the D, get in the lane and dish low or kick the ball out. He's not nearly as effective for this team moving without the ball and or just passing around perimeter.

Troy is good with perimeter passing and moving without the ball and receiving on the wing. It's just not JJ's game and JJ needs to be put to good use (effective use) when he is in there. Play to his strengths...this would also reduce his 3 point attempts for those who think he shouldn't be shooting them.

I think Mick was just frustrated. No way he'd bail on our style of play after 1 loss at the buzzer. We just need to keep evolving. And good news is, I'm sure the guys got the memo about how tough we play.
