Gotta keep going one game at a time. The VA and AZ loss has a lot of people looking forward.

Nevada can play. Tennessee can play.
Totally agree. I hope Nick has them completely focused. And stop shooting so many darn threes, when we are the bigger stronger team.

I feel like even before the VA loss it could be argued Kentucky was the best team in our bracket, at least over the past month.

and an argument you'd have a good time defending.

since feb 15th kentucky is 4th on barttorvik. tennessee is 8, virginia is 13, we are 14. (although virginia was 4 before last night and kentucky 5)

But Jon said no, giving great insight and evidence into his declaration in the process, so I'm sure we are very wrong.

The sec is a solid conference but devoid of elite teams. Sure their defense has been better but what offensive juggernauts have they slowed down? Their 8-1 record wasn't exactly against murderers row. Experience and chemistry almost always trump raw talent in cbb, so I think TN, UC, and VA were rightfully seeded ahead of them and are better teams.

They beat Tennessee though. I agree they shouldn't be seeded higher for the season but I'm talking about over the past month.

I don't get why they only have 2 day games. This sucks.
It was part of the agreement when CBS decided to show every game live across four different networks. CBS wanted the ratings boost lock of only having one game on during the afternoon weekend slate on their network.

I agree it's really dumb though.

They beat TN by 5, a team they lost to twice before that. VA had wins over UNC, Clemson, Miami and ND (with Bonzie) over their 8-0 last month. You might be right- they may be the best team over the last month I just like to debate lol.

No for sure, that's why I said it could be argued they're the strongest team. I totally get what you're saying about Virginia and I think if they wouldn't have lost their 6th man they would have kept rolling.

Man I just want to see Gary Clark play as long as possible.

Really would be nice to be a 2nd weekend team tomorrow

So far tennesse looks really damn good

I wouldn’t put too much stock in a 6 minute time frame where a team plays lights out. Especially this time of year. TN settled down and looks less formidable now. My guess is they are somewhere in between. Teams that are successful are consistent, i.e. the Bearcats.
