Official Game Thread here.

Cashmere and Yancy are the keys in my opinion. They play well and I think UC wins.

I was thinking. Hansbrough is better offensively, but could possibly be a liability on D. I wonder if Dixon might see more time tonite, in an attempt to take him to the basket, or post up on him.

I want a short bench tonight.

Cash
DV
Born Ready
Gates
Thomas

DV, Gates and Cash need to play 30 minutes. This assumes Cash is playing average at worst.
Born Ready must play 25 minutes, if playing well.

Let's get this win. I've started drinking, let's get wild.

Good idea. Time for some rum/coke...if you haven't already seen the quips from Lumberjack or Spinner, you would know it's my thing.

There some are things that must happen to win:

You have to get back on defense
You have to rebound
You have to make free throws

These are things we haven't been doing the last couple of games

Where is born ready?

He MUST be a scorer on this team. He isn't right now. If he isn't healthy enough to play then don't play.

The Irish cutters are killing UC. Backdoor action is ok, but not when it's directed at you.

The biggest difference was the play of forward Luke Harangody, the leading scorer in the Big East Conference with an average of 24.2 points.

Harangody scored only 14 on 5-of-20 shooting in the first UC game, but the second time around he was virtually unstoppable, scoring 37 points with 14 rebounds to lead Notre Dame to an 83-65 victory over the Bearcats at Purcell Pavilion, the most lopsided loss of the season for UC.

“He’s at home - this is his gym,” said UC forward Yancy Gates. “We expect him to make shots here. He was more aggressive tonight

Cash 1-9 (0-6) was back to his usual shooting self.
DV 2-8 (2-8) was off, and didn't even try a 2 pointer.
Gates had 4 fouls, and 6 boards
Bishop did ok, I liked his battling inside on offense.
Davis, with 4 threes, kept the game from becoming a laugher.
Wilks had zero rebounds.
LS was 2-4, and wasn't a factor.
