I think we're going to have to win 2 of the last 3 to get in the tourney. USF is winnable but going to have to beat L'ville or UCONN.

In Mick's first seasons here we lost because we just didn't have the players but they at least played hard. No heart with this team and our upperclassmen our letting us down.

im with you and i think we will beat uconn and usf. if we dont, we dont deserve to be in. we def lose at louisville, based on the effort today.

You only THINK USF is winable. At this point, I'm not sure.

With a lack of offensive movement, the ineffectiveness of Cincinnati's front court, and without heart, no game is winnable. Either Cronin needs a lobotomy, or he's unable to reach his players.

I'm praying that we win vs UCONN and USF with losses at Louisville and the first round of the Big East Tournament. That would put us at 21-11 (9-9), RPI in the 40s and SOS in the 20s most likely. I think that would be enough to get us in, but I'm not even confident at all we can get those wins.

I really can't believe I am posting what I think will get us in the tournament and I'm not sure it will happen. I am absolutely stunned the way this team has collapsed.

With that one as the last game and and must win, I'm hoping USF is just looking to end their miserable season.

Can Mick throw the fans a bone and kick the players out of the locker room or have an old-school player like Logan, Martin (Eric or Kenyon), Nelson, Hicks come to a practice ans rip this team a new one.

the guys at brackettology.com says uc is almost a lock and says uc will get a birth with just one more win. it would be hard to fall out from the 11, 12 line.

i just don't see it.

Two minutes left, down 20 and the illustrious Mick, I,m the coach, Cronin can't even let Eppensteiner have a couple of minutes. You suck in more ways than one, Mick!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe its a good thing we will be playing tulane, houston, smu instead of duke, unc, cuse every other game in the near future.

It could come down to conference tournament upsets. We want all favorites to win.

Why would you post something like that? One of the dumbest posts I have ever seen and that is saying a lot.

He and CapnDale only have negative things to say even when we win. Yeah, this team is brutal right now, but they go too far.

With a first round loss, pretty sure that puts us at 9-10 in conference (9-9 obviously during regular season).

I'm going to say it again, we need 3 more wins to get in. Whether that's 2+1 or 1+2 or 3+0 where the first number is wins in regular season, and the second number is the wins in conference tournament.

Not sure where people are getting this 9-9 idea from. There are 8 TEAMS with at least 9 conference wins as of this post; 7 if you don't count UConn. St Johns has 8 conference wins already and they beat us.

Can you imagine us playing against UL soon. Playing against their defense, we will be lucky to get 40 points. Easily have to win the last 2 of 3 to get in. The committee looks heavily at what have you done lately and there is not one positive thing you can say about UC in the final 2 months of the regular season. It looks pretty grim. I said it in the prediction area, this team (the seniors) has completely shut down mentally and have packed their bags. Give them their diploma's and say adios, its ova.

Conference tournament losses do not count as conference losses. They would still be 9-9.

I agree but depending on how seriously committee looks at the eye test and what have you done for me lately (last 10), it could get dicey. we clearly don't pass the eye test right now and we clearly aren't finishing strong. this team reminds me a lot of UConn last year, but even worse.

I think we finish 22-11 with wins over UConn, usf, and 1st round and losses to Louisville and 2nd round. we will be a 9 or 10
