Shaq just doesn't advance the offense. He dribbles for 8 seconds and gets nowhere. Not out best half but we're right in the game. Rebounding has been very good thanks to Ellis and Clark...and even Shaq on the offensive glass.

Moody would drive me crazy if he were on my team, some acrobatic shots bit out of control. UCalum08 I don't think UC got a lot of easy baskets on their turnovers in previous years, but you're right they're not forcing as many this year. Will be tough to tonight against veteran guards

Shaq is also the only guy attacking the zone off the dribble. He is great in the open court.

I agree but UC isn't winning with the guards scoring a collective 3 points and missing lay ups.

You're right. It will take some perimeter shots from the guards in the second half to win this game. Mick has said this year the offense will be played from inside out, Clark and Ellis have been very good...that needs to set up the perimeter guys to make plays. Shaq has been active in at least attempting to attack the zone thus far.

Really? In previous years that is how we would score largely. We would also go on massive scoring droughts and rely on creating turnovers into easy baskets to get us going.

Ole Miss has the quickness, athleticism, and ball skills to create offense. We don't. It's as simple as that. We do very little other than pass around the 3-pt. Line, but the guards are often not even close enough to the line to be able to take shots. It does very little good when you position yourself 7 or 8 feet behind the line. We'll be very lucky to squeak this one out the way it looks now. We'll have to start hitting shots and do better at keeping them out of the paint.

I've said all year that there is time to be earned at the two for someone who wants it. Tonight there's an opportunity to step up.

Always been a second half team too.

Bearcats have got to look to create offense and attack then finish. Too many lay ups missed.

Hard to make up 10 point deficits when you can only score 25 points a half.

No no it's our defense that's the problem, come on, listen to Mick, he's always right, offense has never ever been our problem.

Edit: oh great, a career night against us.
