I hate to see any of our ranked teams lose to the bottom half since those teams are too far gone to matter... But I really want the regular season conference crown as well.

Me too Robert. But since we have that stretch of UL UConn and Memphis coming up I would def love to see UL lose.

The final score ended up with UConn winning 83-40 over USF. I can't figure USF out at all. They have too much talent to have a 12-13 record (3-9 in conference).
Judging by the current score....not happen.

Who should we as UC fans root for today between Memphis and UConn? Or does it even matter?

UConn. It will give Memphis 4 losses and effectively eliminate them from the regular season American title.

True statement there my friend. We have to take care of business at home no excuses. Also, Mick stated we can't lose to UCF,Houston or Rutgers. Those are RPI killers. Cronin knows whats up.

I happen to think we would be best served if our top teams keep winning. I think more people will tune into the game the bigger it is. I honestly don't think too many sports fans (and recruits) outside of the conference give two shakes about who won our conference or tourney. Outside of one week or one game it will be erased from their memory.
If you are ranked you will be on sportscenter highlights for most of your games. The higher the rank and the bigger the game the more highlights. If you make the dance even non sports fans will see your name on bracket pools all over the country.

Any predictions on the Memphis vc UConn game this afternoon? They are giving Memphis 5 points. I think Memphis can win.
