Carleton beats Memphis 92-60 in Tigers' 4th game of foreign tour in Canada. Austin Nichols DNP during entire trip due to injury.

I know it is exhibition and Nichols didn't play, but yikes.

I cant really take anything from this game.

In regular season play they lost to Oklahoma St by 30 last year and then 2 weeks later beat them

Also in regular season play we lost to Presbyterian and ended up making the sweet 16

Basketball is a funny sport, the season is long, and all it takes is for players to get hot at the right time.

SK had surgery to repair a torn meniscus in one of his knees. His dad says he was playing with it last year and in the summer league and was probably somewhere around 70%. He also said 5 teams are very interested in SK assuming surgery went well and he passes a physical. It took 2 MRIs to actually find the issue in the knee so it should be relatively minor. The enquirer had an article with all of this info a day or two ago if you want to look it up.

on cincinnati.com theres on article by Koch about 5/3 in that article he quoted huggins who said, "I think it's a great building, I really do," said Huggins, who's now the head coach at West Virginia, his alma mater. "I thought it was as loud of a building as any place we played. It's got some bad seats, but honestly, most places do. I loved the fact those suites were in there. That made it big time."
I agree with huggins when packed 5/3 is rocking.

5/3rd for the fans and for the players is two diffferent environments. Unfortunately you have to cater to fans to get them to put their butts in your seats. I'm a fan and want to see my team play in person so I don't make that big a fuss. I'm in the overwhelming minority. As far as Huggins is concerned, you think he ever set foot in the upper deck? I can just about guarantee he never watched a game from up there. Interesting comments nonetheless.

I agree with that, but what stuck with me was he said what place doesn't. We are a some what bigger arena with 13000 plus seats so yes the tops seats are bad but most bigger areanas have bad seats up top. As far as recruiting tho I think the players like 5/3 due to the loudness it can create on big games

But the arena is only loud when it's full, and it's only full when fans enjoy coming to the arena.
