They play that packline Xavier style defense. We were fortunate to beat them the first time, IMO (Shot like 31 FT's to their 9).
they are playing very well. If we have to play them I'm glad it will be at a neutral site. I do agree I would rather face UCONN or Memphis

I'm confused; didn't you say last week you would rather play SMU? Honestly I would. They are a very good team but they don't scare me near as much outside of Dallas.

Yeah, after they lost to Temple I thought they'd fall back down to earth. They followed that up by dominating UConn in Gampel. I don't like their packline defense, that style is the bane of UC's existence...

I don't disagree with what you're saying. Here is their only wins away from home this year though: 29 UCONN, 117 Wyoming, 157 Houston, 204 Rutgers, 220 UCF, and 307 Illinois-Chicago. They feed off that crowd.

Who would have thought have an arena that only holds 6k ppl in Dallas would be such a tough environment. Where they placed the student section is not fair.

Louisville's pressure is relentless and SMU doesn't have Nic Moore on the floor. All of a sudden the lead is down to 2. I think this is difference between UC and UofL. Cincinnati has to slowly build a comeback while Louisville can do it in a hurry.

God I want SMU to win so bad. If they win and UC wins their last two the AAC is ours. I want UC to control their own destiny.

Rick Pitino just said, "tough place to play, I don't think this is a religious school."

Also read that he talked to Mick about how tough it was to play in this arena with the student section being right behind the bench...

Its not fair. Its cruel. Especially with a bunch of spoiled rich kids at the helm. You could hear them saying foul things during the UC game on 700 wlw. But I'm glad they are grilling Pitino. It worked for a while.

Nic Moore might have just cost SMU the game. Picked up his 4th foul with 16 minutes to go and the Stangs down 3. They'll need to deal with the pressure with him on the bench.

Oh and Rutgers trails by just 3 against UConn on the road.

absolutely a meltdown by Moore. Might rank as top 5 dumbest plays of the year.

My god, SMU is scary to play at their house. Mometum snowballs into a terrifying atmosphere... suddenly don't feel as bad about losing there but will feel even less bad if UL dies there too.

I stopped watching when ul was up 8 or so points. Glad smu is still in it.

Despite their best efforts to not.
SK is overdue to have a night like Russ keeps having. Hope it comes tourney time!

Edit: F%@# him
