OU, UD and Xavier were our big three OOC games this year and they may not live up to the hype. OU is 3-3 with no good wins. They did play UK tough but UK is obviously not as good as people think after getting a beat down from UCONN.
UD beat Ole Miss which is whatever. SEC hoops is terrible. Nice win but not great. They nearly lost to some bad teams.
Xavier has a solid record with only 1 loss but they don't have any great wins. Seton Hall is solid but without Hazel that doesn't mean too much. I can't get a good feel for them yet but they don't seem to be as good as the last couple years.
Good news is that we are 5-0 and playing great defense. No way we should lose before Jan 6 verse Xavier and if things keep going the way they are we will be favored to win that game.
A bad OOC schedule only hurts if you lose. If we win 14 or 15 games in the OOC it would beat the hell out of going 8-4 with loses to good team IMO.
I imagine our OOC SOS will be around 150-175.
I imagine our final SOS will be around 50-70. Big East is looking strong again and is the #1 conference in the RPI.
