I don't think anyone can sit here now and say we didn't have enough talent to reach a Final 4. We can take the good with the bad but at some point the coach has to improve at the things he is not very good at. He demands that of his players...so the fans should demand it of him if we are going to pay the bills.

There was a time when I thought the brain tumor issue he went through was going to mellow him out a bit. And it did...for about half a season. I am not sure I have EVER seen him as frantic as he was on the sidelines against Nevada. The doctor would not be impressed. Not even his own health is enough for him to adjust his meltdowns.

Woooosa!! Try some yoga or meditation MIck. Sometimes he reminds me of a boiling tea pot about to go off. Chillax Mick!! It might just help your team. Add an offensive coach to help you out a bit...good lord!! Offense...it's 50% of the game!

Just imagine if he was coaching 4-5 year old Tball?? Why were you looking at the Sun and picking your nose Timmy?? There was a ball on the ground goddammit and little Jimmy beat you to it!! Little Jimmy throws the ball backwards and you have a cannon...but he is starting from now on. Go sit in the dugout and put your bugers under the bench. I am just going to put Jimmy in the field playing backwards so he throws it the right way.

Also, I don't know if you could even consider broome the lead guard since he never started.

Why didn't Loyola give up their 20 point lead to Nevada? You really gonna tell me their players are better than ours? Coach did not lead the team and had no answers for them when shit hit the fan.

So does he have a job here indefinitely as long as he blames the players after every tough loss?

Apparently you have very little knowledge of how sports work. Do you think the best teams just win every game? That good teams don't just collapse sometimes. That bad teams just play really well some nights. That the greatest players can choke, and a nobody can hit a game winner. Of course the odds are to the opposite, but come on that's what makes sports fun and interesting. It's not always what you expect and the better teams don't always win. If that was the case Duke would already be the National Champion.

So we're just gonna go ahead and call Bobby knight a shit coach then right, I mean he threw chairs, what an *******. He obviously can't coach a game to save his life. Let's just go ahead and call Woody Hayes lucky to be where he is, I mean he was constantly yelling. Who does he think he is, these are Girl Scouts he's coaching, does he wanna break them n make them cry or what.. like are we really gonna sit here and bash Mick cause he gets riled up. Like I don't get this fan base at all

I'm not gonna say that I wouldn't like him to calm down a bit, or at least in certain situations turn it down a notch. But I'm certainly also not going to talk down to him because he gets fired up. That's what got him where he is.

No team in NCAA Tournament history has ever collapsed that bad in the 2nd half. This is an extreme downplay of what happened.

Clark got honorable mention AP All-American. Pretty damn good. I hope he gets honored in the new arena. He, SK, Fortson, Van Exel and Logan either need to be retired or at least featured prominently.
 
Things I wish that Cronin would change

-shake up staff, get offensive minded asst coach

-look at getting grad transfers, especially ones that can score in the paint

-schedule more teams out west, like Nevada/St Mary's Gonzaga, and more teams in tri state ie. Dayton, Wright State, NKU, BGSU and less sub 300 teams

-Take Flyers on more local talent, a lot of OH talent in tournament

Bob Knight is a complete *******. Is this really the point you want to make? Mick's sideline antics are downright embarrassing. And normally it's just that, embarrassing. But against Nevada it very well may have cost them the game. He couldn't control his shit and as a result everyone else freaked out. The way he chewed out Cumberland after he was fouled out (hey Jarron, you can't play anymore but I'm still going to rip you a new ahole because of my stupid mistake to keep you in with 4 fouls) was ridiculous.
