Tommy G stated that they will not be the infared ones like last year.

I wonder if they'll be announced sometime this week???

My prediction is that they will be like the special addition NBA sleeved jerseys. Either like the Bulls or Nets...

Sleeves on basketball uniforms are just plain dumb... Good shooters hate sleeves. Good thing we have few of those...

Ridiculous.

I called this....it is clear the NBA/college is transitioning to the occasional sleeved jersey because they know a fan is going to be more willing to buy a jersey with sleeves then one without.

I don't buy the argument that the sleeves hurt shooters. Remember in the 90's when half the guys would wear those baggy white t's under their jersey? Not to mention these are incredibly light, and a few of our guys wear those shooting shirts under the jersey anyways. If the Golden State Warriors aren't complaining about them, then neither should we...

excellent marketing point NTS. I'd also speculate most of these guys grew up playing in T-shirts with sleeves. In my day it was shirts and skins. Personally I don't care what they wear as Long as they win.

The unis we had in 2012 were ugly in person but great on TV. The sleeve look works for some colors and not others, so I'll reserve judgement until I see both black and white.

I don't think sleeves affect performance. I'd argue it's more likely players ditched the sleeves so they could better show off their tattoes, ast that was a trend starting in mid 90s. (hello Brannan barbwire tatt!)

If sleeves impeded athletic performance you'd see tank tops in golf and baseball too. The material is so light these days, it isn't a factor unless the fit is too tight.

Sleeves don't affect your performance unless you think they will affect your performance. If you're used to playing without sleeves and make an issue of it then mentally you are defeated and it will affect you. Let's hope that's not the case for any of our guys.

Are they allowed to go Ted Kluszewski and cut off the sleeves, or is that frowned upon by the almighty NCAA?

You rich season ticket holder UCAT members can sneeze that up in a tissue made of Benjamins... buy a crate of em :D :D :D

Does anyone know if you can buy those red unis they were wearing tonight, I can't find them anywhere online? I'm not from Cincy so I dont know if they are sold in the city or not.

Thanks!

I know the new unis weren't all sleeve last night, but found this funny, LeBron says the "sleeve jerseys" affect his shooting. I know I said it shouldn't affect you physically, but maybe guys with bigger muscles than me feel differently.

Side note, I really liked JJ's black long sleeve look under the red unis.
