This really is a stupid argument. Crean is a good coach, he might have been lucky Wade didn't get noticed by a better program but you can't take anything away from his success. A program like Indiana doesn't hire a guy like Crean if he wasn't a good coach.
My point in responding to this thread would be to say a fair comparison between Crean and Cronin would be to compare Cronin to Crean's success at Marquette. Crean was at one time an up and comer that got hired by a program with a rich history in Marqutte as was Cronin getting hired by Cincinnati. The rebuilding aspect is similar between UC and Indiana, but make no mistake that Cronin is still not the name that Crean is. If (and hopefully when) Cronin makes it to a final four then compare the two.
