I think the same thing as you. I like Jenifer and his potential but I think history shows with his size it will take a while to adjust to the college game. Smaller pgs have to adjust to how to use their bodies in and amongst the trees and real defense being played. Being a pass first type pg might not be as bad as trying to drive and get shots off, but I still think he will have to transition his game from high school to college more so than other players. Good news is we don't need him to come in and run point for us next year. Plus the fact that we like to revert back to a slow, half-court offense I'm not sure where his skill set fits in with that. Hopefully he is the start to changing that.
I think Micks plan is to use Jenifer as 1st option off bench to back up Capuain and to keep KJ and Cobb off the ball where they are much more effective.
