A report out of San Diego says the school has reached out to fellow Mountain West Conference member Boise State about making the jump to the Big East together

The Big East is not interested in San Diego State at this time. That would change if Boise decides San Diego State is a must for them to join. There has been no offer of membership to San Diego State at this time. BYU is being looked at but there are some issues with potential television contracts.

San Diego State is a possibility if Air Force and/or BYU decides against joining the Big East as a western partner is desired by Boise State.

San Diego State is a possibility if Air Force and/or BYU decides against joining the Big East as a western partner is desired by Boise State.

But San Diego State is ONLY a possibility if Boise forces it. No offer has been made to San Diego State and one won't be unless Boise makes it so.
