jenifer and Evansmight be better than lance and gates as freshman
 
Some big time stats today some that stick out:

Shaq 14 pts and 5 steals
Jenifer 11 pts and 9 assists
Caupain 6 pts and 9 assists
Corey 12 pts and 8 rebounds
Evans 10 pts and 7 rebounds

Justin Jenifer has a chance to be for this Cincinnati team what Tyler Ulis was last year for Kentucky. Completely changes the game. PURE PG.

I've never put much stock in rankings, but saying Cincinnati isn't a Top-25 team is the equivelant of saying @minkakelly isn't attractive.

Cincinnati is averaging 101.5 PPG in its first two games. The Bearcats' offense is not a myth. America has officially been put on notice.
 
Ok now I'm more convinced the up tempo game might be real, but thats because they were still able to do it today with their usual suffocating defense, unlike the 2nd half of the opener.

I said at halftime that I wanted them to play good D the second half and not give up 50 again. I was impressed. This was a fun game to watch but my biggest takeaway from it was we did not let up for 40 minutes. Haven't seen that from a Cronin team with a big lead (and that's not meant to be a knock on Cronin just an observation in relation to time). We had swagger today and wanted to bury this team. A win like this only builds confidence. This team is gelling already. 32 assists is just sick. Obviously everything was clicking today and I don't expect many 62 point victories, but this is going to be a fun season.

Well said David. I was at the game and that was one of the most entertaining games I've been to. The assist total is just amazing to see.

Jacob Evans is a freaking stud. His game is so smooth. Just watch him during warm ups. His shot is so true and smooth.

We have some serious shooters on this team. If they keep a consistent in and out passing game we will knock down our open shots. I think the 30 second shot clock is one of the best things to happen to UC. Their press was extremely impressive and something different than previous years.

I can't wait to see if UC can play this style of bball on the road at BG. We played with true Bearcat swag today. Time to do that every game.

Bonus note: You know things were going well today when Ellis was Robert Morris's third leading scorer mid way through the second half. (Due to his goaltending habits)
