Sounds like a convenient excuse that the kid couldn't get in academically. I bet if he was a top 25 player in his class, he would have magically been accepted.

It pains me to say it but Jason is actually 100% correct. This release had nothing to do with academics and everything to do with crean over signing. Patterson was the odd man out

He is by far the least talented player of there entire class. When the academics situation came up pefect way to get rid of him.
