Still cannot believe Rutgers was asked to join the Big 10...regardless, I hope UC chops that wood once again...haven't seen a lot of Rutgers football, but have watched UC gets better with each game...

Go Bearcats!

Bearcats are playing great on both sides...Rutgers is absolutely horrible...

Go Bearcats!

Need to win out and UCF lose to USF or SMU for another share of a conference title. BCS isn't happening, but I would love another share of a title, even if its unlikely.

As a sidenote, this UCF team really deserves a BCS shot. Despite today's performance, they've beaten Penn State and Lousiville on the road, and barely lost to South Carolina. They're certainly a solid ball club and might be carrying the AAC banner with us for the next few years.

In theory, we still could take the BCS spot if they lost one and won one.
The thing is, with Temple and Houston last week, they've had two close calls. If it is the case, that we win out and it comes down to BCS polls, more than likely they'll win. However, if they drop one and we beat Houston and Louisville, it will be close than most realize. If they should drop two and we win out, I'd feel comfortable in saying we go. Of course, that's beyond our control.

If only the coaching turnover didn't hamper our progress early on :(

A loss by them in one of their last two games should drop them out of the rankings. If we win out, a big if, wins at Houston and then vs. Louisville should give us some sort of ranking. I don't think they will lose but you never know. I also don't see us winning the last two, but the way we looked today makes me a little more positive.

We're up to 32 in the bcs and 27 in the coaches. I guess anythings possible.

Central Florida's remaining schedule is vs. Rutgers (BCS 64) vs. USF (BSC 101) and @SMU (BCS 91).

Cincinnati's remaining schedule is @Houston (BCS 43) and vs. Louisville (BCS 21).

Central Florida is #17 in the computers, #20 in the Harris, #20 in the coaches for a BCS ranking of 20.

Cincinnati is #64.5 in the computers, #28 in the Harris, #27 in the coaches for a BCS ranking of 29.

If UC wins out the computer numbers will go up some, and they will be in the top 25 in both the Harris and the Coaches. If UCF could lose 1 game, they will probably fall out of the top 25 in the Harris/Coaches. Boys, there is a shot UC could get the BCS bid.

EDIT: the BCS Rankings are just projected, will update when they actually come out.
