That's fair enough. I just wonder at what point you would stop waiting for Johnson to turn it on/break out and realize that he just isn't capable of giving us more.
I have been at that point. Cobb bumped him and hopefully JJ or Cumberland will as well. That said there performance lastnight won't get it done.

Keep in mind that Jenifer was sick. That excused Johnson's poor play for 2 games. Should apply for Jenifer as well...

L-T your right if we don't make a few more shots we will see a healthy diet of zone defense. JJ will have his up and downs this year. His defense last night was not on par with his previous outings. . Let's hope he picks it back up. if JJ wants to see more action he needs to build on his performance prior to lastnight. I also share your comment on TC. He has not been nearly as effective as I would like him to be.

I think Jennifer is the epitome of what Mick talked about last night. When his offense isn't going well, he lets it eat at him and his overall performance begins to suffer.

Lots of players suffer from that in lots of sports. Hopefully he'll turn it around. as stated we need good guard play.

Really don't follow the football program except what I get here. I go to a few games but as I stated earlier I'm much more of a UC basketball fan.

So am I Waite, which is why I pretty much stay out of that conversation, but there are resemblances between the two.

This may not be a good comment to make but a old teammate and classmate of mine was the last QB to take a snap at X. We tease him endlessly that he was so bad they disbanded the program. With having two TOSU grads in the family I am more tied to the Buckeyes if truth be known. Be game Saturday as you can imagine. Nothing like TOSU and mich.

Haven't read all the post but we have talked at length about who didn't play well but one who did is Brooks. Much more athletic then I envisioned. Also found it interesting hat Moore didn't get off the bench. I guess with Brooks and Scott coming along his minutes are really looking very limited.

; Well, that's a whole other topic. This might sound harsh Waite, but I think it is impossible to root for both. I hate that school even more than I hate X. Sorry, their fans have surpassed Kentucky as the worst on the planet. Their weak little 55 year old grudge because we beat them twice for the national title, buying their way out of playing us here in football, Thad " chicken-shit" Matta finally signing to play us in Mick's first year and after thumping us saying that they would never play us again, and it being well known that they are blocking us from ever getting into the Big 10......well, I wouldn't even root for that school if they were playing ISIS! Sorry.

Nice chatting with everyone but unless I get off here I may be homeless. Hope everyone has a great Turkey day.

Finally something we can agree on L-T!

I get that. Lol! If I didn't have kids that went there I may feel the same. As I mentioned my son was a athlete there and is a member of the block O club. They take very good care of there own. Very good university by my experience. Funny thing is my son will root for UC and occasionally comes to the games with me. He would not root for UC over the Buckeyes but he is still a UC fan.

You obviously failed miserably as a parent Waite. I instilled that hatred for Ohio State in my kids at an early age. All my 4 kids are proud UC Alum and diehard Bearcats.

LMAO!!! You may be right. Actually I left Cincinnati as a 18 year old and didn't return for 22 years. During my time away UC football team was not something I would brag about to my fellow solders. So I kind of adopted TOSU. My kids were all born in Florida.

Kevin Johnson gets singled out bc he's been the same player for 4 years. Caupain was the best player on the team last year. Surely you understand why one would get the benefit of the doubt over the other.

It's an insult to us fans that we have to watch Kevin Johnson get endless opportunities with no consequences for brutal mistakes. Like our untrained eyes can't see the nuances of his game. My a**. He is a bad player by every measure. Every stat, the eye test, you name it. He doesn't belong on the floor. But year after year our coach puts guys like him, Thomas, Sanders, and Guyn out there even though they have had their chances and have proven that they can't play. And we wonder why we suck in big games.

My preference right now is for KJ to be playing as well as he can and still lose playing time. Having him shoot 30 percent rather than 10 is preferable.

He's going to play. I'd rather he not be extremely poor. I can deal with average.

I just can't believe he still can't hit wide open uncontested shots. If I was playing us, I would double Washington and take my chances with Johnson beating us.
