Him and goodberry(bengals) been stealing from me for years making money off it. Goodberry literally started his site of my pre draft material

Not sure if anyone knows the answer to this, but can anyone explain why everyone defected from the traditional boards (BCN, CSNBBS, here), which all free, to use his site?

I mean, back in the day bearcatnews was the place to go for inside info. And now everyone, including the former owner of BCN (JWUC89) are on BCJ. I just don't understand why. To get recruting info 2 minutes before you can find it anywhere else?

B. Fox gave more insight during the season that players weren't happy. Crickets from Chad. Justin Williams has provided tons of behind the scenes stuff and interviews during the Brannen fiasco, crickets from Chad. And now this?

This dude is insider info is pretty much worthless. Not to mention he is an absolute douchebag. He has no sense of humor, he's thin-skinned and his Twitter interactions are an embarrassment to the fanbase.

In case you couldn't tell, I really don't like Chad.
 
I'm with you. I used to lurk at BCN when it was more popular. I feel like it has a red sweater vibe these days. But I don't know why people love BCJ. I don't really care if I get info a few hours later than everyone else.

I don't mind having several different sites though. I kind of like the smaller community here. There's less drama in general (with some exceptions), so we can have lively and interesting discussions with less BS.
 
Chad likes to use double speak, like with the "contract negotiations". He claims to be right if the thing happens and to never have made the prediction if it doesn't. With "contract negotiations" he says he never said how serious they were.

But he will hint at something (when DDJ opted out for example he said "DDJ will be back next year at the latest") and say I told you so (which he did when DDJ came back). Also has a bit of a narcissist complex in terms of telling people how he has gotten everything right and broken so much news.

As one of the non-migrants, I think people migrated there because Chad has close contacts with Bohn/Cronin and gave good inside info. Now he doesn't have contacts with JC or the coach and the level of info he has has gone down substantially. But the forum has gotten popular enough that people who like a highly active forum are willing to pay for it, plus whatever scraps Chad may or may not provide.

It was the smoke stacks he posted on twitter that did it. He knew how people would take that.

Chad is a wannabe inside guy, he is just a dude who owns a website and tries to make money off of it. He acts like he is all chummy with these guys and his credibility was extremely downgraded with this process basically claiming Martin was the next coach and now he wants to go on all these shows and act like he was in on Wes Miller this whole time. I won't ever fault a guy for trying to make money and that's what he tries to do with his website, but Chad has the biggest and most fragile ego for a guy who is basically a nobody, you can see it when he argues with random people on twitter because they disagree with him and then brags about how many people he has blocked.

I just don’t understand bashing a guy that’s on our team now. Like it or not, Miller is on our team now. Same with brannen, when he was. Let’s not publicly kill the guy. A message board is one thing but when these guys get on Twitter, it doesn’t help anything. It actually hurts the program they claim to care about. Especially before the guy has coached a game

Monkey see monkeys do. People hate what they don’t understand/know. They head so far up their azz they mad supposed basketball gurus didn’t know him. This a guy if he was from local area we would’ve lost out to Ohio state or Michigan st. Like mick he won with weaker talent.
