What is our best 5 to have on the floor at the end of the game?

Im leaning towards going small with

Cash
Dixon
SK
Parker
Gates

I agree with that. Gates has to play big in the post and rebound. You can rotate Mbodi in and have the flexibility to go a bit bigger if necessary by playing JJ in place of Parker.

yea, i dont even mind a lineup where we go kinda big

Cash
SK
Parker
JJ/Mbodj
Gates

Parker really gives them a lot of flexibility and options with who can be on the floor throughout the game bc he can defend multiple spots on the floor.

And I know lolsample size of 7 games, but in those 7 games

Parker:
12 pts 6 rebd 2 ast 1TO while only averaging 25 minutes a game and shooting 57% from the field, 65% from 3pt line and 81% from the FT line, while getting to the line 3 times per 25 minutes.

His productivity makes it impossible to not have him on the floor and its been obvious Mick has taken notice as Parker played 37 minutes vs Pitt and 34 vs Okl

Mbodj or Ellis may be redshirted...I'd prefer to redshirt Ellis because he has more of a future and potential, Mbodj will be needed this year at some point...

Yeah, Jeff Goodman had that on his twitter. I could make a case for either or both. Gates will get the bulk of posts minutes now. If they stay strict 4 guard three bigs are plenty. Would rather have Mbodji for insurance but if his injury and suspension has set him back far enough why not? They'd have him for another 2 years. Just making the arguement

Yeah, Mick could really go either way. I am pretty confident that they will need another big man at points this year, and Mbodj will be much more ready (and able) to contribute than Ellis. However if you are thinking about the future, it would be nice to have Mbodj for two more years, with Yancy graduating.
