UC does need to win 2 out of next three. This game was a must win, no doubt.

Big win... ya da da da da da

This teams is in serious trouble.

Justin Jackson and Biggie Mclain seemed to work well together at the end of the 1st half. Biggie comes out in his warm up and keeps it on the remainder of the game.... I don't get it. Especially when Thomas's is Micks first big man sub in the 2nd half. 8 minutes for Biggie; 6 rebounds 4 points and doesnt see the floor in the 2nd half.

Cash was wearing out the ball at half court. You cannot start an offense at the half court circle... Especially when you don't have an offense.

Why is that when we try to press teams they understand it and get the ball up the floor for quick points. When UC gets pressed they walk the ball up the court.....

Me, and ill continue to be right on this issue. His defense is overrated and offensively hes not very good.

I guess I'm a idiot as well since I've called out Bishop many times. Bishop played a great last minute. Awesome pass to the third row, followed up by a drive to the basket and the ball didn't even get to the rim. Great decision by his part. He almost cost us the game. Lucky for UC he was able to come up with a big steal.

Now, I'll know all the people who want Bishop to play will point out his steal after his drive, but if we scored in any of those two postion the steal only means we have a chance to go up more.

Oh, pretty classy calling ppl idiots trying to make your point.

If someone told me that this team would win with Dixon putting up 0 points in 13 minutes and Kilpatrick only scoring 1 point; I would say that would be unbelievable. Not only did the Cats do just that, but they did 'that' on the road. Ugly, physical game, but the end result is a W. How about Jackson! This kid is going to be special.
Go Bearcats!

Fucking clown

I really hope Mick isnt as optimistic as the posters on here.

This team was supposed to have balanced scoring acrossed the board. An athletic team that can press and move the ball up the court for quick buckets.

A win is a win, true....

But seriously people, this team is in some trouble. You have to be able to score points. Last year it was Vaughn and LS for the reason the team could not score points. In the 3 losses and todays game the Bearcats have averaged 56pts/game...

What is the deal?

It is difficult to do anything on the road. I believe ND averages like 55 on the road and 84 at home. I will wait until a few more home games to comment on the offense because we've seen it's bad on the road.

Getting a win against SJU on the road is a big win. ND got beat by 18 points when they played at SJU. Let's hope this win will give the team some confidence and some momentum to build on.
Go Bearcats!

The deal for me is simple, a road win in the Big East versus another road loss. I don't care how many points we score as long as it is 1 more than the other team each game.

St Johns goes 12-26 from the stripe.

UC, 6-7. Some of it could be homer calls, but fact is St Johns attacked the basket. It took UC till the last play to get the ball down low. And look what happened....a foul call

St Johns lost the game

That wasn't even a foul. But you aren't even intelligent enough to realize that. Either way. We won. Why are you here. You should only be here after our next loss.

Heres some officiating 101 for you.
Pretty sure Gates shot a free throw after the bucket. That would mean he was FOULED

Things happen when you get the ball down low. You are blinded by your infatuation with Micky Mouse

Really. Saying our player wasn't fouled at the end of the game ON A PLAY MICK CRONIN DREW UP FOR HIM is being blinded by Mickey Mouse?

Are you a fucking retard?

Seriously. Why are you here? We won.
