Lets keep the ball rolling and make it 9 straight wins. We got the Temple owls coming to town to face our soon to be ranked bearcats in front of a rocking crowd. Temple is 5-9, but are way better than their record, 8 of the 9 losses have been by single digits. They have solid wins against UGA, UAB, St joes. They've got four players averaging more than 13.9 pts a game so they have the talent but have definitely underachieved as indicated by their record. With this said uc is playing great, and they have the focus to keep it up, i expect a great game from our cats and an easy double digit win. I am very excited with the way this team is playing and they show no signs of slowing up!

Hopefully students show up...

9:00 on a weekday should be no issue for students. I'd be more worried about the older crowd. Hell, I'm just a 24 year old grad and work 7:30-4:30 (on average) and I won't be going because of the late start time. I get up around 6:15 every morning, so by the time I get home and go to bed it'll be around midnight....pass.

Haha you aren't kiddin'. As someone mentioned in another thread, I don't see anything positive about a 9pm start. It must be the only way to get the game on TV or something. I'll certainly watch the whole thing, but I'll attend another game.

I anticipate another crowd similar to what we saw against Rutgers. The students will be there in full force.

We just need to keep taking care of business. Can't lose the momentum that we've gotten up to this point by dropping what would be a bad game at home. Bottom line is Temple isn't very good and we're a top 25 basketball team so let's act like it.

UC - 74
Temple - 57

Good post. Not much more to say than that lol. I really hope SK's shot starts to fall. Regardless he has been good about getting fouled so if that continues I will be happy. Word is out on JJ and teams are really focusing on him. It kind of seems like the refs are too. I hope he can stay out of foul trouble and not pick up the cheap ones.

Kenpom has Temple at 141: 108 for AdjO (ranked 97th for AdjO) and 105.6 AdjD (ranked 199th for AdjD)

Cats overall 20th: 106.2 for AdjO (ranked 132nd for AdjO) and 88AdjD (ranked 4th for AdjD)

Temple has 3 players averaging double figures but don't appear to have a lot of depth. Hopefully the Cats can exploit that. I'll predict the Cats take this one 68-54

I'm predicting a Sean will bust out of his slump and hit 4-5 three pointers. I think the game will be low scoring and in the 68-56 range in the Bearcats favor. I think they will come out to prove they are worthy of a top 20 ranking.

Cats -13 1/2

Keep this train rolling boys, like to see SK come out on fire, JJ does his thing Shaq and Rubles in double figures. No Mercy!

Bearcats- 79
Owls- 63

74-55 win. Sanders gets hot and hits 4/6 threes.

Vegas spread is at 14.5 pts Bearcats. My wife is there so I had her bet it. I think we come out stoked with another good crowd and our D will mitigate their top 4 while our offense opens it up just a little with SK coming out of his shooting slump.

68-51 Bearcats.
