Temple (15-4, 5-1, #54 NET, #72 KenPom) is riding a 5-game conference winning streak after beating Memphis at home by 9 points Thursday night. The Owls are led by the three-headed monster of Shizz Alston, Quinton Rose, and Nate Pierre-Louis who all combine for nearly 50 points per game. As a result, Temple has been able to build on these performances and leads the league in scoring during AAC play for just over 80 points/game.

Despite being marred by inconsistency over the past several seasons, the Liacourcas Center has always proved a tough place for us to play. Our past 3 visits there have been decided by a total of 10 points. Special mention goes to Jacob Evans' jump shot with 1 second on the game clock that won the game last year.

This game marks our first chance at a Q1 win in nearly 6 weeks.

Temple seems to always start out really well and the squander leads in the late 1st half.

Rose and Alston pretty much play every minute if the game

Cincy 66
Temple 62

We need Brooks and Scott to stay out of foul trouble, and control the boards.

6 turnovers, 5 3’s from temple, 0 3’s by us, 3 fouls by Temple, 7 by UC...we really should be down 15.

Grabbing a Jersey is a flagrant 1! What about Tre Scott getting his jersey yanked on the out of bounce play

Refs are in a tough spot here...admit they missed the foul on Cane or that Cane touched it last or tha Jarron had an intentional....all around terrible officiating.

For as ugly as that was being down ten is a minor miracle. Should really be down 15-20.

Really just takes a quick 6-0 or 8-2 run to start the half and it's game on. But good Lord the amount of in rhythm catch and shoot open 3 point looks we give up is frustrating.

Are you even allowed to go to the monitor to see if someone was grabbing someone?

Not that that matters to the outcome. We look like crap today. Taking bad shots and giving up open threes. I hate Temple, we always struggle there.

This team is missing Jacob Evans on defense. As much as I think Cumberland wouldnt be having the year he is if Evans was still here we have no shut down defender on this roster and that's why we leave guys open. Our guards just cant figure out you cant leave these guys on defense. Especially when our B team gets in there.

I hope we come out and full court press the rest of the way. I would at least like to see what this team can do out of pressing to force turnovers. Temple is to good to just sit back and trade buckets with.
