We know there is a huge hole at the 5 this year. Everyone is aware. Maybe Tari will leave if he's expected to play the 5 long term. That's not something that's going to change this year though. Giving him the ball more isn't going to help that situation. Let's not act like adjusting our game plan to Tari's mom is a realistic strategy.
Playing for next year is a completely valid strategy at this point. This season is over in terms of post-season play. Relegating Vogt to spot bench minutes and even cutting into Keith's minutes (which isn't usually needed because Keith cuts into his own minutes with fouls) would be fine with me.
Start Diarra at the 5, Eason at the 4 and tell them to get used to playing together because they will be starting together next year. Live with the results.
It may not win us the most games the year, but if it keeps Eason around it will win us more games next year.

Let alone the idea of limiting Williams...which was actually mentioned. Placing Tari at 4 also limits Davenport. All around bad idea. What message do you send potential future pro players if you limit their involvement?

Get Eason, Davenport, Williams, Harvey and DD on court a lot. If you must...let Eason have a few more opportunities since we don’t have any high efficiency players anyway. We don’t have to play Eason as a 5 on offense but on D we do.
Tari should not be our starting 5 in the future. Guys care about the team right up to the point where it effects their pro-prospects. Especially now that they can transfer without sitting a year. No NBA scout is going to tell Tari that he's helping himself by playing the 5. If Brannen tells Eason he's starting at the 5 next year, I imagine Tari is going to say "no thanks".
Is it best for our team if Tari starts at the 5 next year? Probably, but only if Tari stays. Starting Tari at the 4 is better than not having Tari. Not to mention starting Tari at the 5 reeks of desperation. Tari is not a 5 and playing him there out of position is mid-majory. It's saying that we failed to recruit and develop quality centers. An undersized 5 like Eason would get abused by teams with a quality big man (which most high-majors have).
Start DD, Davenport, Keith, Eason and Diarra. MAW doesn't give us much of anything anyway. Tell Eason that he may slide to the 5 situationally (or in case of foul trouble), but long term he will be playing the 4. Recruit two centers for next year, ideally one Sophomore/Junior transfer and one freshman who can be developed.
As for Keith, he's not an NBA-prospect any more in my book. He will play pro somewhere overseas, but not in the NBA. But I wouldn't bench him, just cap his minutes around 25 (he rarely hits that number anyway because of foul trouble). He needed to have a great year, be a top defender and show improved handles and three point shooting to have a shot at the NBA. Blame Brannen, blame Keith or blame Covid, regardless this year was his shot to show the NBA something and he didn't.

There is no long term plan for Tari at the 5!! Good grief. He wasn’t even learning the 5 in pre season practice or even first few games. He could increase his role and minutes that way. He won’t be playing 5 next year other than perhaps in foul trouble.
If he plays the 4 he’s competing with Davenport who has been an integral part. Keith will play all he can and did you forget about Harvey? Do you want him to leave and the team to be worse to appease a single player and his mommy? He’s a grown ass man now!!

Davenport can play 3 when Keith leaves. Easy to slide Eason down next year to 4. This year it doesn’t make sense unless we want to lose and capitulate to a single player. That’s how a coach can lose an entire locker room and fan base. Start coaching like the players want you to.
