Mbodj cannot hit a basket within 2 feet to save his life. It is infuriating.

SK is in a horrible shooting slump. Bearcatjeff is all over that one.

JJ did nothing offensively.

We don't get the ball close to the hoop enough to get to the foul line

Rubles was better but is still out of control

Was at the game...very frustrating...this team will not win when SK is not scoring...Parker was off his game today...I wonder if all the abuse he has taken is already taking a toll...Cash is going to have to play 38 minute a game...no other floor leader to run this team...sure Rubles made some threes...that makes him 4-24ish...still looks to take that shot too much...if he would have played his game and finished his drive to the lane in the end, maybe he would of made at least 1 of his FTs...he is like the majority of this team: athletic, talented, and basketball ignorant...our big men are WEAK...I fear that we lost Lawrence today...during Mick's tenure, he has failed to develop a big man, including Gates...Lavin is having some success with Obepka (which cannot handle the ball on offense one single bit)...if u are a high school big man, which coach offers more?...hope I am wrong, but I feel like we suffered two losses today...0-1 in the BEast and another recruiting class void of a big man...they have to beat ND monday...cannot afford to have 3 losses at home this early in the season...

One more thing...Gaines is hopeless...
Go Bearcats!

In order to develop big men you need to have big men with talent. Outside of gates, no one has had a high skill level. Obekpa is an elite shot blocker with tremendous upside. It all boils down to UC's bigs being very average. Recruiting needs to take a step up to be on a truly elite level. It's hard to develop kids with low ceilings.

Mick can recruit with the best of them. . Stephenson, Parker, gates, Parker, Vaughn. If chane behanon stays committed and obekpa came like they were supposed to, things would be different

Our bigs now are fine. No one was complaining last year in the NCAA tourney and big east tourney when Justin Jackson and gates were dominating both ends of the court

Our bigs are fine? Are you high or delusional, Ralph? And I do not remember Gates dominating anything other than the bench half the year.

If Behanan didn't de-commit and Obekpa committed...that's a whole lot of hypothetical. Face it, this isn't an overly talented team. They get by with tough defense and gritty play, not overwhelming teams with their talent.

He had 3 rebounds and 6 points against Pitt. If that is a huge game for a big, then I have way to high of standards for my big men.

didn't say he had a huge game. he played a huge role in the win.

sadly 6 points and 3 boards is a huge game for one of the bigs.

Obekpa > any UC big man.

Why the F does Sanders get playing time? He is worthless out there.

Cronin should have tried Jackson and Rubles out there together to get more quickness. Our bigs were worthless against their athleticism.

UC lost the game when Obekpa chose to go to St. John's instead of UC.

Mbodj is giving me Ibrahimi Thomas flashbacks. Gets the ball two feet from the hoop and consistently cannot get the ball in the basket. Bad hands, takes it up weak...rarey scores. I'd bench him for this game alone. Put the ball in the f-ing basket. He was 1-7 today and all were in the paint.

Also...Justin Jackson's stat line today: 0 points; 1 rebound; 4 fouls; 2 turnovers; 0 blocked shots

If I'm Mick, I'm taking them out of the starting lineup. Have Rubles/Nyarsuk on a quick leash but send a freaking message, which is: Cheik...you're pansiness is becoming a problem, and Justin...you are becoming unreliable.

there is so much I want to say right now because over the past 6 years, this program has had its ups and downs. this was supposed to be the year that we put it all together and made it to the elite 8 or better. this was the year we were going to be elite. teams that are elite in our conference: Louisville and Syracuse. Do those teams lose at home to anyone, yet alone an unranked team that is filled with freshmen? Do those teams draw 5-6 thousand per game in the nonconference? Do those teams struggle to find good opponents in the nonconference? If we can answer yes to all 3 of those questions, then we will be elite, but we cant answer yes to any of them. We are an inconsistent team that plays to our competition. I thought this was going to be the year where we didn't lose games like these. We should not lose a home game this year. our 2 hardest games are on the road. The game today was a joke. We have the talent to be a top 10 team. We have the athletes to run up and down the floor, to press, to rebound the ball. yet today, we constantly walked the ball up the floor, didn't press, and didn't rebound. we chuck up 3's and hope they go in. only person that seems to make at an efficient rate is cash. we cant make a free throw to save our lives, and I guess I will give them a pass on rebounding cause this is the first time that has happened all year. villanova scored 83 pts in regulation against them less than a week ago, and I would say we have more talent offensively then they do, yet we score 53. we go on these long droughts were we miss 20 0f 22 field goals, turn the ball over, miss free throws, etc. we cant keep having these spurts and expect to win. today, we were in a drought the whole game. we get horrible looks in the half court. who do we give the ball to with the game on the line? titus rubles. what a joke. the kid went 1-4 from the free throw line with all 3 misses being short. he was 1 for 21 from 3 today and yet he still has the green light to shoot. I don't whether to blame the players or coaches, but something has to change and it needs to happen quickly. we need to bring the same level of intensity, execution, sense of urgency for all 40 minutes. still so much more I could say. today was a joke.

Rubles was 3-5 from 3 and if not for him and Cash UC loses by double digits. FT's could have saved the game, they were I believe 6-11. The passing is bad because nobody moves and makes hemselves available. When UC moves the offense isn't bad. Players are playing lazy and not moving.
