I expected a comfortable Bearcats win and I hoped for this but I surely didn't expect it

Offense looks the best it's been in years but the defense is not that good, we need work on defense to become an awesome team.

We look so weak up the middle. OSU is going to run all over us if we don't clean this up. Granted, I don't think they can really stop us either... but our defense looks pretty mediocre right now.

I don't disagree but with this being the first game tackling is always the last to come around.

Defense looks plain bad. Really killing my enthusiasm for this offense. And why didn't TT use a timeout there to get a look at the replay on the possible fumble?

With this offense you only need a decent defense. Not seeing that today.

Toledo has a good offense, so I expect to give up some points. But I have seen nothing that indicates we can stop them. If Toledo doesn't drop easy passes and turn the ball over, we're losing this game right now.

Only head scratcher on offense was not letting Kiel lead the team on the final drive of the 1st half. Otherwise offense...not much to criticize...other than run blocking

Defense was just awful. Tackling being the biggest issue

Great game last night. Kiel is going to be great! Seriously, Kiel could take this program to the final four before he leaves.

The defense was seriously gassed, cramping, and out of place in the second half. They will be better as the season progresses. I think they were a victim of the schedule and situation.

The atmosphere was actually great. There wasn't a bad seat in the house. Tailgating was pretty strong. The student section was full and loud...plus they stayed for the whole game.

Kiel looked great in the first half. He missed a few throws in the second half and looked as if he forced some things that maybe our great receivers bailed him out on, but being his first game in three years and first college game ever I'd say he was pretty darn impressive. The offensive line needs some serious help. They seemed to pass block well enough, but they had zero push at all when running the ball. The defense was an embarrassment. The line got eaten alive and their secondary got beat way too many times. I might can excuse a trick play here and there, but I really have no positives to say from the D last night. Overall, great to get the season started. Not crazy about Paul Brown Stadium. Doesn't have the atmosphere of Nippert. Although it was nice to be able to make a bathroom run and be back in my seat within five minutes.

I love our offense so many weapons this is going to be a fun season. I dont want to sound like that fan but I expect us to win every game on our sceadule when i look at it, and an undefeated season will be challenging but it is a possibility ( the two hardest games imo will be osu and ecu)
