At least the site is bearable half the year when he's gone.

A fact is something verifiable to anyone. The Bearcats are 22-3 so far this year...fact. This is flat out opinion and borderline trolling. Just sayin...

True that. Sorry but it's true. End of "rant"

Agreed.

Poll voters are dumb. I bet most of them can't name 2 players on our team.

Think that's why we have seen a rise in advanced metrics. Call us who go by them "nerds" all you want, but citing KenPom, Sagarin, TeamRankings, etc is much more valuable. Seeing ESPN and other media outlets use KenPom's numbers is encouraging. But, polls still dominate headlines and such. Which is a shame.

My question is what happens to Baylor if they lose to Kansas this weekend. It'll be their second week out of three dropping both their games. No way can they still be top ten.

The inconsistent Seth Davis posted what looks like his ballot for this week. Shockingly he has UC at 12 jumping not just teams that lost but as well as the likes of UK, Purdue, and Florida.

Well he only had Cincinnati dropping two spots last week to #13 so he really only moved us up one spot in his poll.

Butler could very well lose 2 games this week at Villanova & Xavier and drop out of the AP top 25. They better drop from a #4 seed if that happens. The committee will probably raise them to #3 based on some stupid reason.

15th is where I had them in my Reddit poll too.

I think this is a true ranking. This is where we should be. 11th was a bit high.

Tough week this week, but we sweep and we move up.

Except they will pound Xavier

Would love to see your ballot

I don't vote as a UC fan, so I generally just put them them where they stack up based on wins in that week.

I had them 18th last week. 15th this week.

When I look at the teams I ranked ahead of UC, I can most of them beating UC on a neutral floor. Obviously not all but in general, I think this is a pretty accurate ranking for us.

I posted this on Twitter yesterday, but I really hope some of our AAC foes can get into the RPI Top 100. As of right now, we've got too many teams right on the outside:

102. UConn
103. UCF
106. Temple
112. Memphis
114. Tulsa

UC is currently 5-3 vs the RPI Top 100. A whopping 8 games vs Top 100. That's nothing special at all, and I know the committee looks at that stuff. We've got 9 games between those teams in the 101-114 range, so it'd be superb if at least a couple can get back into the Top 100 soon (probably impossible for all to, as they're just playing against each other).
