Highest ranking was by two writers that each had us at #4. Lowest ranking was by Cecil Hurt who covers Alabama sports had us ranked at #18.

Was just thinking the same thing. Crazy how awful some voters are. Reminds me of the few people that didn't vote Greg Maddux in the HOF this year.

At least the Hall of Fame voters have a reason for not voting for Maddux - a stupid reason (since no one has ever been unanimously elected, no one ever should be), but at least its an ethos.

Anyone who thinks there are 17 teams better than UC should really give the vote to someone else.

Its a weekly snap shot and this week UL is playing better. The season as a whole is reflected in the bracketology projections where UC is the higher seed.

I just don't see how blowing out a team on Wednesday and losing to the #11 team in the county by 1 point on a lucky/bs finish justifies dropping 4 spots. Any other team would still be in the top 10. UC though, voters couldn't wait to get us out. They are itching for a loss at Saturday too. We will be close to #20's if that happens.

Like Chad tweeted earlier, it makes no sense that we only dropped 3 spots when we got destroyed by SMU, then drop 4 when we lose by a buzzer beater against a far better team. The inconsistencies of the polls ...I think by the end of the year though it'll all make sense. Then you just analyze the resume's and see who's is better.

Who said it was a conspiracy? I just thought it was inconsistent and didn't make sense. That's really all. You're rude as hell to people on nearly every post and I'm sick of it. I love debating, but you make it personal often. Just disagree. That's fine. If it's unbearable, then leave. What's stopping you?
