I wonder who takes this rivalry more seriously? We have UC, who has made their schedule so they would have 8 days off to prepare, while we have Xavier, who will be playing a game AT another of it's rivals place 3 days before the game.

Cincinnati plays Syracuse on Big Monday at home, who is currently ranked #3. Also I would like to add the 3 coaches who voted for UC in the Poll should be committed.

You are right, I don't know how I forgot about Syracuse. They are a pre-season final four pick for me. My mistake.

Xavier is really good. Not that good tho lol

We will play 4 or 5 top 10 teams this year and they are all huge opportunities. Including this one. This one even more so sense it is Xavier.

Beside Xavier? Including X I see 3. Syracuse, Louisville, Xavier. I don't think Marquette reaches top 10 status this season- though they are a tough team and could play with a lot of the top 10.

Is there even a debate anymore on who is UC's biggest rival? It's quite clear it's Xavier. I've seen numerous people state how much they hate Xavier, and they can't stand losing to Xavier. Or, will we have the homers suggest that Xavier is "just another game." That was the constant excuse when Xavier was beating UC, yet when UC beats Xavier, UC fans go nuts.

The past few years Xavier fans have been debating this. Who is Xaviers biggest rival? Butler or Dayton? My how UC has fallen

Also, did anyone else get the feeling that UC saved the rivalry last year? Talk amoung Xavier fans was all about dropping the rivalry. It does nothing for X. It is a lose lose. Win, and you are suppose to win, lose and you are humiliated because you lost.

This is the single greatest comment ever uttered from a worthless X fans mouth. To actually think that you people think this way proves that you are so delusional you begin to believe your own lies.

It has been true though, recently a UC loss is terrible, but a win is expected= lose lose for Xavier. It appears to be true this year as well.

As a Xavier fan, this pains me to say this but from the highlights of the Georgi game UC looked very solid against Georgia in the second half. If they play that well against Xavier, they are going to give us a game for a few minutes.

For either fanbase to say it is other teams "superbowl" or means more is a defense mechanism.

People who try to diminish the relevence of the game and to soften the blow of a loss.

If I constantly say it is Xavier superbowl, and they win, than it is a easy way out of when talking to fans after the game.

There is no bigger rival for Cincinnati. It isnt Louisville.

There is no bigger rival for Xavier. It is not Dayton.

People who try to pull these cards come off immature to me.

...It's both teams' superbowls? Interesting theory.

I think you should don the white and blue of the school to remain nameless. Let's let the season play out before we make broad judgements.

Mick > Mack

That will be the difference in this game

the Ralph couldn't answer me,(In fact, he responded to my question and completely avoided answering it. It was unusual to say the least) maybe you are more educated

Mack went to the sweet 16 in his first year as head coach. I am wondering, how many years has Mick been a head coach and how many sweet 16's does he have. Can you help?

Very easy question to answer. Mack had all of sean millers recruits at that time.

How did macks 2010 class go?

Mick vs mack is not even debatable
