We got 100% out worked in this game, forget the refs, forget the Asian kid getting hot when he usually sucks.... Tulane outworked and out hustled UC.... pathetic, sorry 2nd half basketball, I don’t give a f*** how fast you want to play, you turn the ball over that many times EVERY game you will never be good I don’t care how many 4 stars you have, they out hustled , out rebounded, wanted to win.... I’m tired of the excuses of how the offense isn’t all the way in and “how we have to do a better job” no shit.... we are 14 games in and we are not making the tournament unless we win the conference

He has a team with zero composure who make mistake after mistake. He has consistently been out coached in the 2nd half. He left Vogt out too long. His plays out of timeouts were a disaster. But where do I start

I’m 100% now sure that John Brannen has zero idea about how to coach defense.

He sticks with the same thing possession after possession after possession.

Maybe it’s not his fault and it’s all he knows.

Yup, the defense and lack of adjustments have been a major disappointment.

It's pretty obvious how to beat our defense. 1. Have a 5 who can shoot it from three. 2. Use that guy to put Vogt in pick and rolls. 3. Score more often than not.

Or pull Vogt to the perimeter and then take your man 1-v-1. That prevents Vogt from defending the rim and rebounding.

I thought Brannen got out coached. Hard not to love Ron Hunter. The match up zone had them confused. He should not have brought Vogt out of the game.

Other things, our rebounding is terrible. Houston is the same size as us, if not smaller and they go after everything. That could be on the coach also.

Also, can anyone make a shot?

I don't think they are going to win more than 2 or 3 road games in the conference. Maybe UConn, ECU, one more? A .500 conference record is definitely in play.

If Vogt's man goes to the perimeter, you don't want Vogt to go with him? Or do you want him to guard the rim? He can't do both.

If you read any of my post, I am clearly on team Brannen. I also call it how I see it. If someone doesn't have a great game, I say it. You are talking to the wrong guy if you think I am against Brannen.

The bright side: I’m not even upset any more.

Losing has become kinda normal this year.

No joke the past 5 years, a loss would ruin my weekend.

But at this point I don’t even care that much.

I was gonna sell some Tulsa tickets bc I Have an upgrade, but this just killed the value.

Won’t even be able to give them away.


This new regime is sucking the passion right outta me, so much so that I’m giving up my season tickets for next season.

If Vogt is the issue, I would love to hear the solution. Not saying Vogt is good defensively but he had 21 points on 9-11 shooting. If you put someone else in, how are we going to score. Not sure if you guys saw Berg's tweet about our offense with vogt on the floor and when he isn't. If not, go check it out.

Just like the argument someone out coaches someone, when they had nothing to do with how there team scores the majority of there points he gets the credit for broken down offense and desperation shooting? I don’t give him credit for that
