I mean, let’s not pretend Jenifer was bad today.

6 points and 5 assists is pretty damn good.

Offensively we were elite. Defensively still not good.

Evans slump looks to be over. 15 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds.

Evans can play make. Any other analysis of him Is just bad. His slump was just a slump, not bc he was running plays.

Him and Cumberland are great at setting up teammates.

And maybe the 2 best on the team

6 points and 5 assists is not good for the 11th ranked teams starting point guard against a mediocre team.

Thanks Cumberland for half 1 and clark for half 2.

Obviously others stepped up (Scott, Evans, Broome).

But can I say how much I hate this arena/parking again? I’ve been in the car for 25 minutes and haven’t moved 1 inch. It’s AWFUL!

Evans and Cumberland had 30 pts 15 ast 11 reb? Wow.

Jenifer is still sick. His shot has looked good lately too.

We can entertain you.

20 questions, the topic is UC basketball...Go!

I'll just say I'm happy we didn't have to face that team at their place this year (although the extra potential Q1 win would've been nice). Tulsa looks ripe to upset one of the Top 3 in Orlando.

Gary cried talking about this family and time here at UC on the radio.

I love that dude

Dude that was intense I will admit I got a little teary eyed just listening to him, he definitely cares a lot about our program and he’s such a great kid

Jake can obviously play, and makes his teammates so many plays. But in end-of-game scenarios, I would like Broome to have it. He's so good at getting to the hoop, and an elite finisher!

It's good for the limited minutes he played.
Went to game, here are my thoughts
UC played maybe the best offensive game of this year, our defense when teams spread us out is our Achilles heel. Tulsa shot the ball from the 3 like no team I have witnessed, maybe besides Marshall last year. Cane is far and ahead better than Jennifer. If Jennifer can stay consistent from long range, take care of ball and hound the other teams point guard, then that's all we need him to do as long as cane plays more. Cane is a spark plugs and when he decides to turn it in, look out he is a stud, however he does get lost in defense sometimes and Gamble's a lot in steals, he needs to definitely get more minutes at the point. Gary stepped it up in second half and we road him for a ten minute stretch. When Kyle gets the ball in the post he is unstoppable, in defense however he gets lost and causes us to give up rebounds and points. Jacob had a good game, he is really a smooth player. We need cane and Cumberland to draw and dish to get him shots. He is way better at being a jump shooter than her is at creating his own shot. He however creates very well for others because of the attention the defense gives him. Cumberland might have played the best game ever, this guy is going to be an absolute stud from here on out. He is very good at creating his shot and shots for others. Wouldn't mind him taking the point duties from Jacob in situations. The player of game besides the obvious is Scott. He showed that elite athleticism snagging rebounds out of his area. He is another guy I'm excited about next year, but we need him desperately on the boards this year. Brooke's moves well in defense but couldn't throw the ball in the ocean if he tried. Ellie didn't get much playing time but you can see he will be the prototypical bearcat big man. And last but not least, the refs again were absolutely abysmal. Go Bearcats.....

That's the problem though. As "good" as he played for himself, we were still minus 5 with him in the game and +17 with Cane.

yep. thats the whole point, even at his best, its still not good enough.

running total for conference play +/- for broome and jenifer

Jenifer +66

Broome +168

an average of +4 per game for jenifer and +12 per game for broome. that is a huge difference.

You have a link for that +/- site? I forgot to favorite it last time.
