a jersey guy, has reported that uc and uconn will move all sports except football to the c7. if true do they add 1 more for a 10 team league or 3 more for a 12 team league?

can't post the link because my ps3 won't let me, so if someone can that would be great. :D

Once the acc raid comes we will be in the acc

what happens if the raid never comes? i really don't like waiting around waiting for the chips to fall into place.

imo, if uc has a chance to join do it. sign a gor and deal with it if the time ever comes.

lol not sure how the rumour was shot down since it's just picking up steam.

you're an interesting cat,bcm.

If the ACC raid never comes UC will remain in the Big East.

UC will make more TV money in the Big East than they could possibly earn in a split MWC/C7 arrangement.

I would venture to guess we'd remain in the Big East for football, not move to the MWC. Even with leaving for all other sports, I doubt the Big East would want to lose us in football. As hard as it is to believe we are the biggest name football program committed to the Big East at this point. Also could wiggle us out of a buyout. I also think that TV money for basketball will start to get bigger payouts. Look at the money MLB is starting to get. A conference of the C7 schools, UC, UConn, X, UD and Butler would be a very good bball conference. Maybe fourth best behind ACC, Big Ten and Big 12.

There is a 0% chance of UC playing football in MWC and basketball in C7.

UC will remain in Big East until invited by one of the Power 5.
It's weird to day this but Ralph is absolutely correct minus "the power 5" comment. Acc is not anywhere near the level of the big 4

No, you are both (or should I just say you since you are one in the same) wrong. The ACC would be ideal-average in football so Tuberville could win and build a good program at the same time and Mick could get way better recruits and still be solid in the time being. BIG10 and BIG12 have both been down in football recently and the ACC is as good as it comes as far as basketball.
