I want Ge'Lawn to get more minutes. This is a good game to get some other guys some minutes since it seems like Nova's strategy is "don't let SK score"

please tell me that on the last play of the half that arciadano didnt travel a mile before he thru that lucky ass pass up. Refs dont call shit when the clock is winding down. Rubles is playing well as is sanders. More dribble penetration tonight. This team is looking like a division 1 team on offense somewhat. JJ needs to sit. He brings nothing offensively and for every one behind block he fouls 30 times. After two big threes by sk he then doesnt touch the ball, hell i think he got taken out. Cash is starting to slowly creep back. Rubles penetration and passing brings another dimension. Like what i seen the last ten of the first half. Lets go cats...

Definitely seem more loose tonight. I hope it's a sign of things to come.

I was happy with the aggression tonight after the first half of the first half. I don't mind SK and CW bombing 3's way out. We drove the lane a bit tonight. Parker needs to remember that he is a beast when it comes to that. Nice D as usual...GREAT hustle for loose balls. That's how you win games when you aren't dropping 80.

Congrats to Cash on becoming the all time steals leader at UC! That is a great accomplishment considering we have been a great defensive team since about 1990.

Didn't get to watch the game. 18 point win can be deceiving. Same team with a few more shots falling or did we play better?

Sanders and Parker gave us the boost we needed with Cash still finding his way back. SK got hot, but he can't do it all on his own for a long period of time. Rubles shows flashes, but I have 2 problems with him-1) he only can dribble with and only goes right and 2) the jumper needs to go, along with his typical 1-2 boneheaded mistakes per game. JJ, Cheikh, David, and Kelvin looked mediocre, but the great play of Parker and Sanders made up for it. I say we need to start Sanders, move Thomas up to Sanders old role, and demote Rubles to the bottom, but play him more than Shaq if we play a really physical team. Shaq/Sanders really need more minutes.

And we had something that resembled offense, with players driving down the lane and kicking out, and thus, our 3s were more open than usual. Plus, they just fell today.

Well I'm glad UC showed life and played hard. Finally a decent win at home, I spend too much on tickets and beer to watch them lose home games lol. Parker continues to piss me off bc I am on a love hate relationship. I love his hustle and hate his ft shooting. What was he, 4-11? I guess it is what it is. Hopefully they build on this bc Fridays game is another must win.

Played good D. Started slow. Missed a lot of 3's early, per usual. Would have been a more impressive win had it been against any of our next 4 opponents!. Guys hustled the whole game. Parker still struggling at the charity stripe, but give me a team of 5 Parkers any day! Good game for self-confidence going into Friday night.

how can you say that rubles should barely play? do you not realize he leads the team in rebounds?

Not barely play, but just a little less. This team needs offense, Parker is just as good of a rebounder. Plus, we are the 7th leading rebounding team in the country, that's not the problem. We need Sanders and Shaq-their offense compensates for what they lack.

Also, Rubles is the WORST offensive player we have. Can't dribble, can't penetrate, can't shoot. Turns it over too much. Only thing he gives us is a rebounding presence.
One a good note, GeLawn looked good for the short time he played as did Thomas.

Very active defensively. Nova with 19 turnovers. Actually more 2-point attempts tonight, which wasn't necessarily a good thing (9-28, 32%). It was nice to see them play inside/out more often though. Rebounding effort was very poor. Overall, I thought we played a little better. We were +27 from the 3-point line, but a lot of those came on kick out passes to open shooters.

There is another good thing about Rubles, he can shoot FT's. And I like him inbounding the ball better than Cash.

I don't think he is horrible like others do and I see his potential, but right now, this team needs Sanders/Shaq.
