I’m shocked you didn’t just admit you were wrong. Shocked

What am I wrong about ?

I don’t even know the context.

The state of UC: more posts trying to prove justinhub2003 then actually talking about the Bearcats.

2020 sure is a strange world.

But if it makes you feel better.
I WAS WRONG ABOUT EVERYTHING!!!!!!

Classic. Flip out on someone for no reason. Find out you’re wrong. Get mad at everyone else. Stand up guy.

I simply questioned the timing of dou leaving the team.... You went postal. Completely unhinged . Which for you.. is impressive.

Went back & read the thread.

I stand by what I said then no matter what happened today.

He opts out before the first road game after his girlfriends family came to visit them.

Personally I think it was risk vs reward. Why risk your health for 7 min a game on what amounts to a bad team. Coach recruited over you with guys you likely out perform in the practice and also you watch him commit mistake after mistake and not get pulled, while your not given the same grace.

But at 20 min a game, where you can get more comfortable and maybe show enough to make a living overseas some day. Then it’s absolutely worth it.

Who knows. Add in that road games against SEC teams where the testing protocols aren’t the same

I will always defend a players right to make a decision based on their health or their families health. And he opted out for Covid concerns. So nothing to apologize for especially since we don’t have the whole story.

I am not too surprised that Rap is leaving. He wanted to play the 4 and for some reason Brannen believed he could - despite him obviously not having the athletic ability.

I did think he would play better at the 5, but he was a disappointment there as well. I'm guessing Brannen had some conversation with Rap recently about cutting back his minutes and that combined with not playing his preferred position was the final straw for Rap.

As for Diarra, I'm obviously glad he is back. There will definitely be questions about him leaving the team and whether it was Covid or minutes related. My guess is both and I am okay with that. He likely wanted to be at least Vogt's backup and when he was told he'd be our third-string center he figured it wasn't worth risking his health and that of his baby for minimal minutes.

Now the baby is a little older, he will be getting more minutes and Rap is gone. At this point, barring a miracle the season is basically over. Preparing for next year should mean that Diarra gets starting minutes at the 5, Eason at the 4 and they learn to play together. Vogt isn't going to save this season and won't be here next year, so might as well minimize his minutes.

The baby is a little older? Can you tell me how many weeks? IMO this came down to being 3rd option to potentially 1st or 2nd. One of those options can be something more career defining than the other. And that could be worth the risk when providing for a baby.

A lot can change with a baby in a couple weeks. The mom could have gone from worried she'd need help, to confident she can take care of the baby herself (or some parents/friends stepped in to help out), the baby could have gone to sleeping an hour at a time to sleeping half the night. The mom may not have been comfortable with Diarra leaving town and now she is.

I'm sure minutes played a large - probably the main - role. But it's not impossible that the baby was a fairly large factor.

I have a feeling your trying to bait me into something.

But the only baiting I do is master

No baiting, just don’t be an idiot. You would rather write multiple paragraphs trying to justify it, act like a victim, or make some bad joke, than to simply say, “my bad” or “ yeah I shouldn’t have said that”.

Stop, he left because he wasn’t playing. Which I don’t blame him for but let’s stop with, “the baby is older” stuff.

Justin the legend awaits his apology... You can do it.

And for future debates. Take the legends word for gold. It's always right.

Nice.

Gabe is likely gone. No 2021 class, and his less talented, less recruited brother is still with the team.

Maybe Gabe’s plan was to do his bro a solid and get him on a high major then move on.

I’m kidding.

But for real do. Y’all ever notice how winning teams rarely have players opt out in the middle of the year.

Something is broken in the locker room where kids would rather stay home then play basketball.

Gabe opting out for Covid makes even less sense since he already traveled with the team and doesn’t have a baby. I could at least understand Dou. With Gabe... I dunno
