They're one of the best 3 point shooting teams in the nation. That scares me with how our guards like to crash down for a double team. If their bigs are good at kicking the ball out that could be trouble.

We can get to 80+ by being efficient. Scoring that much on our end doesn't mean we played in a track meet.

Easily. They play little to no post D, if we even have 50% of the ball movement from yesterday, Clark and Washington will be unstoppable on the inside every single time up the floor. Brooks and Tre might even make a decent cameo appearance.

The more I look at this game the more confident I get. I really don't think UCLA will fair too well against our defense. I honesty think they have to have a great game from beyond the arc. Now they're very good at shooting 3s so that's definitely possible but I just have this feeling our defense will put them out of rythm. I think our best chance is to keep this game in the 70s To low 80s. Like jake said I don't even know if it's possible to have a game in the 60s and if I was just looking at our score and it was in the 60s I wouldn't have a great feeling about how the game ended up. I think they make it to high 80s or more we are in trouble. It's just about playing at our pace, playing good defense and making shots. With their D we will get plenty of good looks. Sticking with the cats, I think we end up with a comfortable lead most of the game.

If I'm Mick I am emptying our bench keeping the full court press up every trip down the floor, wear them out by halftime

A team that doesn't play strong defense often gets into foul trouble playing a team with strong defense. UCLA doesn't have the depth we have either. I am hoping we wear them down and the deflections disrupt them enough to frustrate them into bad shots. We are more than capable in beating them. Our speed surprises many!

One thing is for sure...We brought the right attitude to the tournament. Win or lose...We are going to leave it on the court and that's all I can ask.

I like our chances when we do that and Troy is playing well.

I disagree completely. I could see a light press like we do sometimes just to slow them down. But the West Virginia style play everyone stuff sounds terrifying. We don't need to do that to have control. And our best players need to play as much as possible imo.

Yes, we don't want to change who we are now. At the end of the day, be who you are it is what you are best at! Our normal defense will cause plenty of trouble!

There's going to be a fine line in this game with sending guys to the offensive glass and sending guys back on defense. We know UCLA is susceptible to offensive rebounding, but they're a good team in transition so it'll be a interesting balancing act.

Seems to be working swimmingly against Notre Dame right now.

UCLA and Notre Dame are pretty much complete opposites. I like our bench but this is not the game to have Scott, Moore, and Jenifer out there for more than a couple spot minutes.

We're going to need Jenifer's quickness if we get caught up in UCLA's pace.
