Duke lost to BC, Kansas lost to Washington, Purdue lost to WKY, Miami's only lost is to NMST, Arizona lost 3 in a row. I wouldn't call it an outlier, is it the worst lost of the year for a til team, yeah. But many teams above us have lost worse games than we have. And do we have 4 losses already? And how 31-3? Only 31 regular season games.. so 28-3? Or did you think we were going 30-1 regular season. Either way we still could end up with 3 losses, but I never heard you say that before, until you thought we werent. Just saying. Most of us optomistcly thought 28-3 or 27-4 were most likely and that will still probably be the case.
Well I found it cincyguy13 official guess was...... 25-27 wins. So 25-6 to 27-4. Where are your shattered expectations coming from then? Because sounds like we are right where you thought we would be.

Why would I lie about being disappointed? Why would I make stuff up? I have no idea what my preseason predictions were. I don’t carry them around. Those were made before anyone seen a game played, by any team. Whether it 27-4, 30-1, who cares. I thought this team was capable of being a great, special year. Once again, we still can, I don’t think we have looked the part.
I’m also waiting on those examples of me bashing the team.

This is the problem with our argument. The thing that got this whole thing started was, grading our OOC schedule. Not to predict the season. I gave it a c/d. Admittly a D was too much. So I came up to a C. I was not projecting where the team is going to be.( I hope great but not sure). Simply saying disappointed with the going 2-2 in the 4 games. Seems like you and jack arguing about the overall season
And that's exactly the point. YOUR EXPECTATIONS. So why would we just ignore your previously stated expextations. The point is, at the beginning of the year, you said 4-6 losses. Now that we have 2 you act like you said we would go 30-1, which you didn't. You're sad because we lost a couple games and your blowing it into this huge thing and now you've spent days defending something you probably already realize doesn't make sense. (Or you don't and that's worse)
Still waiting on examples of me bashing the team. But that's not a separate season. That's what you don't seem to understand and I already rough up the two separate parts of the schedule. What did you really think we were gonna do in OOC if you thought our overall record would be 25-6 to 27-4. That's the question. If we weren't gonna go 2-2 in those big 4, when were you expecting us to lose? To one of the cupcakes in OOC or to have 3-6 losses in conference play. Like I said just trying to follow your logic
Some of this might be true at this point. Honestly not sure what I’m arguing at this point but I’m in it. . The grade of a D was too low. However when those predictions were made, Florida was supposed to be a top 10 team and UCLA was supposed to be a top 30 team. Florida was technical but they were struggling when we played them. 27-4 would still be good but to hold on to predictions made 3-4 months ago is. Dumb

I said for lack of a better term lol
I on here to talk to other fans. I not mad at anyone, just giving a point of view. Some times I come off wrong. I’ll admit that. All goodYeah and that's what sucks about scheduling sometimes, you never know where the team is gonna be the next season, seems like that happens to us a lot too. But either way, I know you're a fan, I know you love the team same as I do. It's all good brother, I'm as optimistic and I am defensive lol. And I am 100% with you that I think we should have at the very least won the Florida game, and I'm not writing it off, but I truly believe we WILL NOT play another game even close to that bad the rest of the season, and that makes me happy. And as far as X is concerned, they're proving to be a really good team, we know what the rivalry is and how hard it is to play there, who knows the outcome of they were at UC this year. Either way I'm perfectly fine with that loss and wish we could have won the Florida game. But it is what it is at this point, I think we are getting better every game, and most importantly we are building team chemistry. I would love a protected seed and still think we will get one, but if losing a game or two more and getting another 6 seed gives us some more growing opportunities and prepares us better for march, then so be it. We have the team to make a real run this year, from any seed. While I'd love a perfect 31-0 record, I want some success in march this year and that's how I'll grade our season in the end.

If you thought 2-2 was good when you thought Florida and UCLA was going to be better, wouldn’t you change your opinion and be disappointed when it turns out they are not?I agree from a game-by-game standpoint. But overall it's just a ballpark estimate. Things may change for better or for worse for the teams on our schedule, but overall it's about what we thought it would be I'd say. Or at least I don't see enough of a reason to veer too far off of what we thought coming in. And we're right in line to meet expectations.
