I think Trevor hasn't seen minutes simply because he wants Evans on the floor as much as possible as well as Cumberland. And you have to find minutes for Broome as well. And before anybody says give Moore JJ's minutes, we all know that won't happen. Mick trusts the ball in his hands.

He got time in the X game and looked overmatched. He gave Williams the minutes against Mississippi State. Truthfully though when we're trailing in games I wouldn't expect to see much of the bench. We complain about the minutes our main players aren't getting already on this board so where do you find more minutes for a guy like Moore?

Need to hit some from the arc to improve the spacing. Even that though Washington is terrible passing out of the double team. He really forces a bunch of shots.

we do but our guys gotta catch it closer to the bucket too.

washington takes a lot of shots that looked forced, but he actually shoots 53.6% from 2. gary shoots .530% from 2. something about those darn lefties that allow them to get the shots up.

Patrick with us not being a one and done school. It seems the focus of our recruiting is getting the 4 year developing player. Recently we are getting more polished players but if we start getting one year grad transfer and playing them over our developing 4 year guys do you think it could impact our recruiting?

I don't think that being a one and done school dictates or should dictate taking grad transfers, plenty of schools do, Xavier does and just got another one.

Mick has stated that he does not like to have someone just come in and take minutes over a player that has put in 3 years in the program. It is about getting talent. I doubt it would impact recruiting. UC is in the AAC, I would take the most talented people you can get. The transfer X just got is something that UC needs next year, someone that can score in the paint, doesn't matter if they are a JUCO, transfer or grad transfer.

I was simply commenting the fact that Mick has stated he is against grad transfers and UC will probably not get one in the foreseeable future.

mick sees him in practice, he knows if he can stay in front of quicker guys or not. you dont need a real game to see that.

Well he saw him in HS before he had to confirm it in practice then. Athleticism is not something you can teach! That doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling about Moore's future here.

You can only make shots if you can get in the game...lol!

you know who the coach is. thats the last thing on his mind.

you dont have to be a great athlete to be able to play defense but its going to take time to learn. he will grow into it but he doesn't have to play now get there.

UC is taking this game serious enough to fly out on Thursday instead of on Friday.

The more more time in LA the better.

Hopefully we have a place lined up to practice

Do our players really fly allegiant to LA?

Or did we rent the whole plane?

I was thinking the same thing when I saw that picture. Not a lot of leg room on those planes for these big fellas lol. I'm 6'4 and my back is on my seat and my knees on the seat in front of me

Waite it doesn't seem to have hurt XU's recruiting

we gotta remember they really lucked into bluiett thanks to UCLA. would be nice to get a player like that to fall into your lap.

where would they be without him.

they lucked in to bluiett and they luck in to all their tournament success? Is all of their success due to luck?

thats unfortunate as luck has a ton to do with life in general.

Luck is a part of it...but you can make your own luck too and that's the only way you can really go about looking at it.

We were unlucky to have to play UCLA in round 2 (they were under seeded)...but we could have also played better and changed our seed.

One of my favorite quotes is "luck is when preparation meets opportunity"

Luck is definitely something, some have and some don't. Hell either rpi or Ken pom tracks luck.

This is how I feel. Yes it sucks when you have to play a good team in th tourney but you are allowed to win the game. There are teams that do it. Instead of blaming it on luck, just admit we weren’t good enough.
