They've played some good games in recent years. UConn has an efficient offense with 1.2 ppp versus the Cats @ 1.09. You know you're going to get good performances out of Napier and Boatright. DeAndre Daniels seems to be their x-factor. He's 6'9 but has good touch from the outside and is shooting close to 49% from 3-pt range. He's also light at a listed 195lbs so he's not going to out muscle TR or JJ. He could see a mix of TR, ST, JS, and JJ guarding him. They also have a 7 footer in Brimah who can collect some blocks but doesn't seem to have as much scoring impact.
The Cats need to rebound and not give a good shooting team any second looks. We're going to need more bench scoring (only 2 pts against USF). TC, KJ, and JS need to make an impact in this one. ST could be our x factor like against L'ville & Temple. We'll need Guyn's harassing defense and timely big shots. SK & TC have a good size advantage over their guards that might result in getting into the lane and forcing their bigs to help - and hopefully foul. No reason this shouldn't be a sellout. Cats take it 68-62.
