UConn is not a very good basketball team but they have the name brand recognition. A win tonight helps our tourney prospects and should be expected.

We're the better team, a loss is a failure.

UConn has a lot of talent on that team, just haven't played well together for most of the year. They have defineletly underperformed this season many of their fans had high expectations with gibbs transferring their and Jalen adams coming in. But they have seemed to turn a corner a seem to be playing the way should lately so tonight wont be easy by any means especially at the XL center

Uconn is not a bad basketball team. Especially on their home court. If we win tonight , that is a great win. Don't try to diminish it with your sour attitude towards Mick

With how evenly matched these teams are I expect the same outcome as last year. We will split with them. They will beat us tonight at their place and we will return the favor when they come to the shoe. I think anything less than an 8-2 finish in the last 10 games the Cats will have to win the conference tournament to go dancing. Hope I'm wrong and we sweep them but history and our play this year would say otherwise.

I agree with you about the history. We are due and in need to win a game like this tonight. We can't really take for granted and assume we are going to beat them at home. Especially with how this year is going. We have to find a way to get the win tonight.

I think on paper we were considered pretty even going into the season. Take Brimah out of the equation and that should slant the advantage way in our favor. Because we've under-performed, the match-up now looks more even. We can't accept anything other than beating them twice because we let Temple and a bunch of losses at home jump up and set the season way behind expectations. When you fail in one area, you must over-perform in another to keep the season on track. We can no longer assume this loss is going to happen. The coach must accomplish unexpected victories to offset all the unexpected losses or his one single "atta-boy" of making the tournament 5 straight years will come crashing down. Without that in his resume, his overall performance looks very average or even below average. We must beat UCONN tonight and then win all the other road games and then put the exclamation point on by beating SMU at the end and seal the tournament deal.

Then... Win the conference tournament.

Just used the RPI Wizard from rpi forecast to see how well we fared if certain things happen.

I did most of these things assuming we would NOT take a bad losses (ECU, Tulane, USF, UCF)

I have no idea how accurate this stuff is but here are some theoreticals are losses and how it sets us for RPI.

1. Lose to @uconn, @houston : RPI: #28
2. lose @uconn, uconn and SMU : RPI #46
3. lose @tulsa, uconn : RPI #32
4. lose @houston, @tulsa @uconn: RPI #37
5. @uconn, @memphis : RPI #28
6. Win out..... RPI#21

Again no idea how even close to accurate that is

I've always used firstrowsports.eu.

TONS of pop ups but will definitely have the game. Sketchy site so if you are afraid of getting a virus, avoid. I'm on a mac and haven't had an issue with it. Watch soccer on it all the time.
