Hope the cats bring their A game. Hamilton, Gibbs and Purvis are quality players. Beating them at home will be a tall assignment. Hope we can continue to build on this mini run.

Thank you for starting this thread.Need to win this one and take advantage of them not having Brimah. Would probably be the best win of the season considering its in the road.

Yea, we certainly will need to play both ends of the floor. Hope we catch them when they are not hitting the 3's. I like are chances better at our place but we are playing better and a nice road win would certainly do us some good.

They are 14-5 overall and 4-2 in the AAC. Wins against @Tulane (75-67), Memphis (81-78), @Houston (69-57), Tulane (60-42). Losses to Temple (55-53) and @Tulsa (60-51). They won their last game this weekend in OOC at home vs Georgetown (68-62).
UConn is #31 in KenPom...#107 AdjO, #11 AdjD, #216 AdjT.
I think we'll be +4.

Oh shoot. My bad. Thanks for clearing that up.
Go to this game every year and it's always an "i need a drink game". Good atmosphere, always seems to get a little heated. Seeing Uconn a lot, its easy to say VERY inconsistent. No Brimah should be huge. Perimiter defense can give some good looks so we need take advantage of that. If we come out cold and get down early, this obnoxious fan base could play a big role.

My heart hopes your right but my head says getting a win there will be very difficult even without their shot blocker. many on the team are stepping up right now. hope it continues Thursday night.Big game - early Bracketology has UConn as a 9 seed and UC as an 11. With SMU suspended from the tourney, AAC is looking like a two big league, 3 tops.

They have got some guys that can play. the center Brimah is injured and he is a defensive difference maker. He will not play tomorrow but we will still need our A+ game to win. They are like us in that the scoring is really spread out. In years past they had Boatwright, Napier and Walker. Hamilton in my opinion is there best player.Counting down the hours. Can't get caught scoring in the 50s. Those kind of shots can hurt that much more. We gotta bring the man's game on the road. No feeling things out. Just take it to them.

As in Memphis, they have better ranked players than ours. Hope our cappy coach can have a good game plan.
