What the hell does this starting stuff matter? We didn’t lose the game in the first 4 minutes.

Cane played 28 minutes and had a pretty high usage when he was in. He played 28 minutes and Jenifer only play 11 and we still lost. What in the hell are you guys asking for ? Want 28 and 12 a number most people wanted? Well you guys got it and it failed.

i believe people said cane for 30+ minutes in some games.


and that 7-0 run to start the 2nd half put us in a hole we never really could come back from. there was no reason for jenifer to start the 2nd half with how the 1st half went.


outscored 34-17 in jenifers 11 minutes. that was too much to come back from.

Cane is best as a scorer but in the last few games didn’t get anyone involved. I mean what this team needs most is an accurate passing point who penetrates the lane, draws defenders and then kicks a perfectly throw pass into the shooting pocket of Jake or jarron. But of course, we lack that player. Jenifer can throw that pass, but can’t bresk down the D, cane can break down the D but sometimes is inaccurate with the pass. That’s just calling it how I see it.

He is 3 star freshman who has shown he can shoot.

just happens to be his lowest 3 game total in assists too. assist rate in conference is still 31.3 which is very high.

Just saying that is how Cronin evaluates shooters, he is the one that said he changed his recruiting philosophy when the shot clock was reduced to 30 seconds to recruiting more offense minded players and shooters, now he is saying that UC doesnt have shooters. Well maybe it is his evaluation.

What is the deal with everyone love affair with Bluiett on here? He was a top 4* top 40 recruit, completely different. I doubt Moore can average 20 anytime in his career.

UC does not suck, they lost a couple games by a couple points to a couple of ranked teams, one of Jake's 3's drop and one of SHamet's rims out and they win, same at Houston. Glaring issues, yes, suckage, no. To win against elite offenses they NEED production from Kyle and Gary.

I’m not sure Jenifer was involved on any of that . He got beat by shamet but fed him right into Kyle Washington who blocked his shot.

I’m just sick of hearing how much this team has a coaching issue when it’s a personnel issue just as much.

We don’t have a bucket getter. And it’s scares the shit out of me for the tourney.

I can agree here. But who's fault is that ultimately? I believe we have a well rounded team. Shooters, post players, and maybe less in terms of 2nd level scorers...but we don't need that to win.

Jezus..we can win with D, and rebounding, and ball security...and we have capable scorers. It's all here but the creators...and we have one of those on the bench. I think we really have it all!!

go watch again. Kyle bailed him out when Shamet toasted him. Kelly dribbled right around him for a layup, then he got faked out thinking wichita state was passing it out and his man reaves cut to the basket forcing jake to help leaving a wide dunk mcduffy missed then they tracked down the miss and passed it to a wide open 3 for reaves.


those were all jenifers fault. and he got benched right after.

So cane playing 35 minutes means we can beat teams like:

Unc
Xavier
Mich state
WSU
Virginia
Texas tech
Villanova
Osu
Purdue


I’m saying that what did Sunday night show you with cane playing 28 minutes and scoring 18 thst makes you think we can compete with those Linda teams.


I just hate the I told you so kinda stuff, when I don’t believe it’s what lost us the game.

Either way. I’m going to stop. It’s the more film I watch, the more I realize I was a complete homer all season and that we aren’t all that good. And we kinda benefitted from a garbage league and a very mediocre field.

I may feel better after seeing us play in a few days but I just won’t get validate or invalidate my thoughts on this team, really until the tourney. Since we should win every game left except WSU, and I won’t be mad if we lose that one.
