Obviously I am joking but it does seem like pressure got to him. Hopefully he moves back home and in a year or two he wants to get back into it but doesn't want all that comes with being a coach at ND or UF and the only logical choice is to coach UC.

I think the posters on this site have more love for UC than Urban Meyer does, despite being an alumnus.

Probably a pipe dream, but let's hope coach Jones has our program in a position where we will not be looking for another coach in a very long time.


Though the other thing we have going for us is he is a tight knit family guy and his sister is a Bearcat professor (not sure of her field, but economics seems to stick out in my Swiss cheese brain).

the stress family thing is a cover up. i have never liked urban meyer and never will. the second he realized he couldnt live with his bff (timmy) and if the arrests continued there would be sanctions so he decided to quit. if this guy did want back in there is no way i would hire him he flat out gave up on his players. if it is too "stressful" to be 7-5 dont be a freakin head coach

Urban Meyer's dream job is still Notre Dame. He is going to take off a few years and wait for Brian Kelly to kill a few more people and then take over at ND.
