What does this team need to do to make you happy.

I am very glad we won yesterday because I couldnt imagine what people would have done had we lost.

I can handle U of L but not Rutgers.

For me personally I would like to see this team beat Louisville and keep it close with WVU.

If they did that I would feel a lot better about this team. Then I would like to see at least 2 wins in the NIT.

You can build off of that.

Almost another implosion. It is sadly comical to watch them in the last two minutes of a game. Another 30 seconds and you know. WATCH DAVID LETTERMAN FRIDAY NIGHT> DAN HOARD SAYS IT's a must if you are a BEARCAT FAN!

UC fan after a win: "Man, we almost lost last night. This is embarrassing."

UC fan after a loss: "Man, we lost last night. This is embarrassing."

Fitting that this takes place in a thread titled "What would make you happy?" Apparently, the answer is "nothing."

My last post may have been insulting. My apologies...I just get fired up by the ever-present pessimism of our fan base.

At least I'm quick to realize it! :)

UC beat Rutgers by 1. Why shouldn't we be concerned?

I want to see a win by double digits with passes being made with a purpose on offense. Getting the ball inside would be a start instead of shooting jumpers. Also would like to see them build off that press and force more turnovers. Only other time I saw it was against USF when down a lot.

UC was in the paint all night last night, they did not settle for jumpers, though they shot them when they were open. With the exception of 2-3 possessions near the end of the game, their passing was crisp with the intent of going down low. I would imagine they will continue this strategy against Louisville, and it will work even better because of UofL's lack of anyone named Ndiaye.

I would normally agree about the press, but UofL knows how to handle and beat a press better than almost everybody in the NCAA. It won't work in the next game. In general though, that should be our MO...use our depth to our advantage.

I dont give Mick much credit at all but I need to when I see something like last night. The play he had to get Vaughn the ball after the last Time Out was a great play.(I believe LS inbounded on the baseline to wright,The rutgers player gaurding the inbounds pass went to help foul wright who immediatley threw it over the top and back to LS. The guy gaurding vaughn then went right to foull LS-Mick new that would happen, and LS just threw it over the top of him to Vaughn.) I was very impressed with how it was executed and it was just very well done. Then to have LS miss the free throw- I was thinking the same thing but still gotta give him credit.

I agree they went inside a little more last night. Good to see for once. When with the ball, they seemed star struck. Ibrahima made some nice passes, but also didn't seem comfortable trying to score (was solid on the boards). Himself and Yancy are a combined 13feet 10inches. As I stated last night, DUNK THE BASKETBALL. Throw the damn thing down!

Oh and Yancy needs to improve greatly on his passing down low. I am fairly harsh on him because I see a lot of potential as we all do in his ability. However a very successful business man once told me: "Potential means you haven't done sh*# yet."

I have never seen a big man with so much athleticism that doesn't revel in throwing it down. Don't know what the problem is. It's like he wants to be known as a finesse player or something. He has a nice little jumper and everything, but dude, take the 100% shot!

I'm glad UC won. The goal is to win games.

Obviously the team is in dire need of some changes/upgrades. That's not going to happen this year. Let's support the team and hope Cronin can come up with the proper answers.
