What a joke. Throwing things onto the court. Huggins went on the mic and told them to stop.

Later in the game a assistant coach for Pitt got hit with something.

I hope the Big East fines WVU.

Did this really happen? That's shameful and something must be done. I was at a basketball game once where the ref said if something else was thrown on the court a T would be assessed to the home team. I was very close to throwing something, just to tell everyone that I got a technical foul in a division 1 game. Of course had the game been close I wouldn't have thought about it though.

Pitt is aptly named, but the fans from WV are the worst. I was at Nippert and the Mountaineer fans came in from the parking lot talking junk. I believe the halftime score was 35-0, and it got worse.
Needless to say, I'm thrilled about our recent success..especially with them.
Paybacks, can be a bitch. Especially for the fans.

I have been two half of the Big East stadiums for football an EVERYONE has said that WVU is the WORST place to visit because of the fans.

80 people on the site and only 6 of them are members? SIGN UP PEOPLE!!

I actually thought huggins sounded good but those fans are sad. I cant wait to beat them there later in the year!

This coming a person who was escorted out of Nippert for throwing oranges....

nothing will compare to what we use to go through when we were in C-USA and traveled to UNCC. They threw batteries with intent to kill.

WVU football fans were shocked at Nippert this past year when we beat them, then didn't rub their face in it. I think several of the WVU fans I saw were ready to fight, and didn't know how to react when an opposing fan was polite to them. They quieted down once the game was over...however, during the game they were completely classless.

In summary, WVU fans suck.

It would be appreciated if you left personal lives out of here. Throwing someone under the bus like that is uncalled for. Grow up

Hahaha, ya okay. Ill get right on that. Get off your little high horse, you attempting to tell me what to do is merely comical. Thanks for the laugh.

As for the joke, everyone was throwing oranges everywhere. Get a clue.

I agree 100%. When other teams fans come in I never boo them or flip them off. I always try to talk to them about the game and where they are from. I didn't like the way I was treated in Jersey by the Rutgers fans... well before the game because no one was there after!

As for me getting escorted out by police for throwing oranges, I say prove it.

Ha I still remember wearing cargo pants and having 13 oranges in them. Great day.

I was at the UC WVU football game two years ago in Morgantown. It was eye opening to see all the billies telling me to f off for having the balls to wear a UC shirt in their sacred dump of a town.

Sounds about on par with what I have heard.
