That's a difference of 7.7 points and 3.9 rebounds.
I think it's better to look at ratios rather than raw numbers. There's greater difference in talent in a 10 pt vs. 5 pt scorer than there is in a 25 pt vs. 20 pt scorer.

Most of those players saw D1 stats well less than half of their Juco stats. Kanter's stats were above half of Fredericks' Juco stats.

By the way, not arguing or anything. I just like a good friendly debate. Especially with numbers. I'm sure we can both agree we'd enjoy a big win tomorrow.
Agreed. Thanks for the civil discussion.

I think Cronin just means sometimes the unexpected guys can get hot during the crosstown shootout. I mean Dee Davis and Kantar were not supposed to have that big of impact on the games. Obviously they had potential too, any D1 player mostly like does especially a senior, but he just was stating that shots seem to fall that game for Xavier.

I just hope we get the win I don't care what happens.

we all know what he meant.

nobody here would have been happy if UNLV's coach came out and said "things that bother me are when guys that can't shoot, guys like keith williams, go 2-2 from 3 and we lose the game"

we would all think that coach was a prick if he said that.

i think an important thing for us is to be selective in our 3 point shooting tomorrow. we are actually shooting 43.5% from 3 as a team the last 6 games vs the 25.4% we shot the first 3 games. but we went from 19.6 3's a game in the first 3 to 13 3's a game since.

we can shoot them within the flow of our offense but we still don't really have the shooters to just keep hoisting them up there.

ive watched xavier a couple times and i've seen them settle for too many 3's in a few of them. i think they kept forcing them up vs san diego state when they were easily scoring inside on them. Scruggs is really streaky, marshall has shot a lot of them and only shot it at 25%. Welage can hit them so never leave him open. Goodin forces up a lot of them too and has only shot 24%.
